Brilliant double today for Team Hobbs with Leapaway & Roll The Dough at Newton Abbot. 🏇🏻🏆🏇🏻🏆(thanks to Laura Parker for the photos).
3 runners today for Team Hobbs:
Newton Abbot: Leapaway, who won here on his last run, bids for a 5 timer under Tom O’Brien in the Novices hurdle.
... Roll The Dough: A recent course & distance winner, runs here under Sean Houlihan taking off a handy 5lbs in the handicap chase.
Perth: Imperial Presence runs in the 2m4f handicap chase and is bidding for a four timer under the champion jockey Richard Johnson.
Tomorrow: Contented runs in the the Novices handicap chase at Worcester under Dicky Johnson. This is his chasing debut and we hope he goes well as he has been schooling really well at home.
Fingers crossed for some luck 🏇🏻🍀🏇🏻🍀🏇🏻🍀#Team Hobbs

Fantastic to have another treble on Thursday! Ozzie The Oscar (pictured with Rider & groom Izzy) & Umndeni at Warwick & Who’s My Jockey at Kempton.
That makes in 9 winners in the past week!!! Well done and Thank you to all the hardworking Team at home. 🏇🏿🏆
Today we have 4 runners at Sandown on the last day of the National Hunt season:
... Show On The Road in the handicap hurdle, Rock The Kasbah in the Bet365 Gold Cup and War Sound in the Handicap chase all under the Champion Jockey Richard Johnson. Ballotin runs in the handicap hurdle under owner/ rider David Maxwell. Wait For Me is a non runner because the ground has gone too soft for him.
Brilliant for Richard ‘Dicky’ Johnson to be crowned champion Jockey again for the third consecutive year. He is not only a fantastic jockey, but a gentlemen and a great ambassador for our sport and thoroughly deserves to be Champion 🏇🏿

THE top family team.
Legend
I remember in 1987 being invited by Sarah and Philip to their yard and they were so hospitable. We have followed the yard ever since and horses like Balthazar King which we followed from his first runs, as well as the Hobbs family friendliness, have kept us hooked on the sport. Latest stable star that enthuses us is "Rock the Kasbah" . As former punks he holds a special place in our hearts! A good one to follow! If you ever want to put a horse in training look no further you will have a great time with the yard.
Great Day out at Sandhills for the Open Day. Horses all looked Happy and Staff who where obviously enjoying their Job all the stables were spotlessly clean
A huge thank to everyone at Sandhill Racing Stables for a fabulous yard tour earlier today. All images at nigelkirbyphotography
