It goes from A to B whilst keeping you dry and doesn't require you to do any of that nasty walking business.
But to some people a car is more than that. They have names, and take pride of place in the family somewhere below the dog but above the wife /husband.
We know this because we ourselves love cars, and when we see a nice motor looking a little dishevelled it pains us.
That's why we decided to set off on this quest of auto refurbishment and valeting.
We want to bring tired motors kicking and screaming out of the embarrassing corners they find themselves in, and thrust them into the chiseled arms of pride and self worth.

We're in the final stages of the Moggy restoration, so thought we'd share some pics of how the engine and bay are looking.
This Moggy was heading to the scrap heap, but along came the current owner who rescued her from the cold, steel jaws of death. The car is being completely restored; a back-to-bare metal, nut-and-bolt restoration that has been a huge challenge. Copious amounts of cutting, welding, bashing and expletives have gone into this project. It's been long going, but we're at the 90% mark now and looking forward to seeing the finished article. The day has arrived where we're finally in a position to start rebuilding! Today's job; replace the old and worn wiring loom with a lovely new one. Gonna look mint!

A few pics of the monster resto we've been doing, and the main reason we've gone dark as of late. A simple 'pretty up' turned into a nut-and-bolt restoration. We're finally, FINALLY nearing completion so thought we'd share a few pics of the horrors we've had to endure.
A quickie of a candy blend for a dreary July Sunday
Good afternoon, folks. We thought we'd break radio silence and let you all know we are still alive and kicking; we've just been holed up working on these 3 monster resto's! Can you tell what they are..?
This Celica had a few bumps and scrapes, along with a previous dodgy bumper repair that the owner wanted sorting. The paintwork had also been polished to within an inch of its life, giving a patina'd appearance. A full respray along with all 4 wheels being refurbished and it's now looking brand new again!
This 90's classic was in need of a little TLC. There was some welding required to both doors, both wings and bumper brackets. We then painted those panels along with the bonnet, and refurbished both bumpers and all mouldings. It now looks superb!
Poor prep around the aerial eliminated.
