The Phoenix tips it hat and dims it’s lights as we remember Gillian Lynne, dancer and choreographer this evening.

“I’m telling you that ‘thing’ upstairs isn’t my daughter…”
Winner of two Academy Awards, and widely considered the scariest movie of all time, the film adaptation of The Exorcist sparked unprecedented worldwide controversy when it was released in cinemas in 1973.
Forty-five years after William Peter Blatty’s best-selling novel terrified an entire generation, The Exorcist is unleashed onto the West End stage for the very first time in a uniquely theatrical experience directed ...by award-winning film and theatre Director Sean Mathias (Bent, No Man’s Land).
“Oh please, Mother, make it stop! It's hurting.”
When the medical profession fails to provide answers to young Regan's strange symptoms her desperate mother Chris turns to a local priest for help. But before Father Damien can tackle what's before him, he must overcome his own shaken beliefs, as this fight is for more than just one girl's soul…
Inspired by true events.
This production contains material which may shock and offend.

Visited on 1 August to see matinee of Chicago. Very friendly and efficient staff in a beautiful theatre. The show was fantastic too!

User

Visited for the matinee of Chicago today, totally fabulous performance, loved every minute! Cell Block Tango is always my favourite part but today I also particularly enjoyed Sarah Soetaert as Roxie Hart in her ‘Roxie’ number; her characterisation was fab! Also thought Paul Rider as Amos Hart did an incredible job; loved his cellophane solo, best performance of that section I’ve ever seen (Seen Chicago love 6times in 16 years now!) The live band we’re also outstanding, loved their opening to the second act! Thanks for razzle dazzle afternoon! x

User

The entire theatrical crew and the bank were amazing! Roxie was the standout performer! she could communicate a lot of information with every part of her body. I had a lot of fun, and look forward to visiting again soon.

User

Seen Chicago for the first time fantastic show stunning performances from the entire cast. If you get the chance it’s a must. Cell block tango was my favourite song. 19th July 2018

Lovely theatre. The staff on our visit were really friendly and welcoming and it made a real difference at the end of the show to be thanked for coming by who we presumed was the house manager. The little things mean a lot!

User

Lovely theatre. Smaller than many which is great. Leg room good. Very nice.
