Another colouring creation. This time the image comes courtesy of the Library of Congress.

Today some creativity out of nowhere. This seascape started life as a old parchment with a heavy dark crease through the middle.

Was tired of seeing badly coloured Civil War images so i coloured one and injected some special life sauce into it! Just look at that tree!

Rebuilding missing pieces.
A missing shoe, missing arm, carpet perspective issues, dolls buggy rebuild, picture frame extended and flash shadows added. All in, quite complex! The repair is clean and takes much longer than you might think.

Ever wondered why you can't simply physically repair a photo? This video sheds some light on the topic and how long it would take just to fix one tiny corner tear. Even then it is clearly not perfect!

Some folks may find this useful if you have loads of scanning to do and i mean loads! My review of the Epson FastFoto FF-680W a super fast auto fed scanner. This is only really useful for scanning tons of 6x4 or 7x5 prints of a certain era i.e the photo printing boom of the 80's
