Wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here on May 3rd. There was about 25 of us. We were upstairs, but not on the outside deck. The food was delicious! Very nice and helpful staff. Some of our guests gave speeches and I think everyone could be heard. There was a little hiccup with a steak or two not being cooked exactly right, but we just asked about it and it was no problem. The food was seriously so good. Yum! Thanks!

Where do I start, from the moment we walked in it was perfect. Food, atmosphere and service was second to none. Both of us have a habit of complaining for one reason or another and we could not fault one tiny thing with this restaurant. Our waitress Luccia was especially outstanding and went above and beyond our requests. Will DEFINITELY be returning, money well spent!! See you soon x

My family dined on the roof top this evening and we’re treat like royalty from the beginning..



Italian speaking staff, good wine, great food and a dj playing chilled house music!

So resfreshing to know that there is still high customer service around from the moment of booking very efficient and professional. Love this place, the staff are attentive and our glasses never empty. I relish the food especially the side orders off veg. I recomend the crispy duck particulary. Great atmosphere and lovely surroundings, on sunny days you must try the roof top terrace for a drink.

I had a really nice night with my girlfriend! Had the fish platter and literally couldn’t move after. So delicious! Roof top terrace is really romantic with an upbeat environment will definitely be going again �

Can't beat any Piccolino's restaurants, staff are always so happy & friendly, and the Ilkley staff didn't disappoint...... we'll be back very soon x �����

As myself and girlfriend attended on Saturday evening we were met by friendly staff who showed us to our table, drinks were prompt and the food was fantastic. Very reasonably priced, was slightly shocked about the cost of the table water but not to the extent that it would ruin her special night! We will be back! Thanks!

All ways use to go to the one in Leeds & really miss it when it closed however our experience was fantastic along with the food & definitely well be coming back again

First visit to Piccolino.........here's what I thought........credit where credit is due, the front of house and waiting staff were fantastic. They were welcoming and friendly. The bar staff were ok, but they need to smile more! The cocktails were ok but just that. The food however was a bit disappointing. We were a table of 7 and some dishes came hot and some warm. The pizzas were tasteless, which is surprising in an Italian restaurant. The pasta was okay. I had a veal chop and it was beautifully tender, but under-seasoned. The vegetables were spot on, cooked to perfection and wonderfully seasoned. Dessert was nice. The atmosphere was laid back and the place nicely decorated. It was a long way for us to travel and so we would probably not go out of our way again, however if it was local we would give this place a second visit and try out some different dishes.

We were recommended this place for our anniversary and had high expectations. Kept waiting at least 15 mins and other people were being seated who arrived after us and there were tables available. Staff were hit and miss, the nice waiter was polite/helpful - made sure our pizza was made as requested. But we also had another waiter who virtually throw the desert menu at us and didn't even ask if we wanted anything. After 15 mins we just asked for the bill. The female wAitress offered other diners their loyalty scheme but not mentioned to us, so I can only conclude that they don't want our return business? Also it can get hot and stuffy, especially opposite the kitchen.

Normally we have such a lovely experience when coming to the restaurant but today was just awful. Waited 50 minutes for two children's pizzas and two salads, which didn't come because we walked out. I was asked if I wanted a drink....20 minutes later it hadn't arrived. Everyone was being served their food before us. We definitely felt ostracised. The waiter couldn't be less helpful until I said we were leaving. We got our starters for free at least but maybe that was to get rid of us, who knows. Such a shame.

Food very overpriced for what we got which was rather bland. Poor atmosphere, ideas well above what the restaurant then delivered. V pretentious

We have visited here quite a few times for special occasions and on Friday travelled over an hour to dine on the rooftop after visiting our wedding venue. It was a lovely sunny day however quite breezy. We have never had a bad meal here and often talk about how amazing it is and the service is also great (previous time our son wanted sausage which wasn't on the menu so chef personally went and got him sausages).



This time however was not the great service we'd talked about :( We were asked what we would like to drink on arrival which was great but on us asking for cocktails our wine glasses weren't taken away off the table. May not be a big deal to most but coming from catering industry this is a must!

I ordered the steak and Nic ordered the seabass. We went for the lunch option which was a main course for £12. Sadly I wasn't asked how i would like my steak which i thought was odd, and nic's seasbass came swimming in oil. Being in the catering business obviously fish is always a little nicer with a drizzle of oil but this was literally swimming! So much so it wasn't enjoyable.



It was really cold on the terrace and lots of people surrounding us - including some kids in the corner booth, were asking for heaters to be put on - the feel just wasn't right and like it had previously been. To me if people are shivering and asking for heaters the temp of the terrace should have been just right as it usually is.



On asking for the bill, it took 25 minutes! we asked 3 people if we could have the bill please and each time were told "certainly 2minutes!" It wasn't overly busy so not sure why service was so bad especially given the sheer amount of staff working. We were rather shocked to see i had been charged double for a non alcoholic mojito and then a ridiculous service charge + VAT on top bringing a lunch bill to £50.



We have had some amazing evening at this restaurant but sadly after this experience I'm not sure we will be returning which is such a shame

Visited with my partner. Booking went well and promptly shown to our table with no delay. Drinks orders very slow and ordering food also slow. Food was not amazing - average at best; so expensive too. Although menu states 10% discretionary surcharge will be added for groups of 6 or more - it was also added to our bill for party of 2. So beware....



Overall - very hard to recommend or plan a return visit based on our experience.

Took all the family on Christmas Eve and the service was absolutely shocking! We had to keep reminding the staff that we’d ordered drinks ! Eventually my husband got up and picked up our tray of drinks that had been sat in the bar ages and served them himself! Food was very average !

We had to ask the waiter if we could order desserts and he just said “yeh what do you want “ 🙄

When the bill arrived ( eventually!) we aske then to remove the service charge which is something I’ve never ever done anywhere and the mgr came to ask us why we’d removed it but rugby seem remotely bothered when we told him the reason !

I wouldn’t mind they weren’t even that busy
