Went here with my girlfriend for my birthday and the staff were brilliant. They knew it was my birthday because my mother had phoned ahead to let them know (cheers mum). When we arrived they said they were expecting us and we were given complementary prosecco!



The food was superb and at then end of the meal my partner couldn't decide if she wanted a tiramisu or not. She decided not to but the waiter brought out one of the biggest pieces of tiramisu we've ever had, also on the house!



I highly recommend Picolino's if you're ever in Liverpool! We will definitely be going back!

Went for food last night & it was amazing so nice I usually go to San Carlo when I'm in Liverpool but yous are nicer & cheaper so bonous...:) My new restaurant when I'm visiting!

Went Saturday night..... running late so called up to let them know and they were very accommodating.... lovely warm welcome, excellent service and fabulous food! Already booked in to go again!

We had the pleasure of meeting family at Piccolino’s twice while in Liverpool in June 2018. My wife and I had a five star experience. A real standout was Aneta who made us feel like we were the most important visitors ever. An employee like this young lady is worth her weight in gold to her employer.

We had an amazing lunch once again here ,,,, the prawn linguini is so delicious as is the sea bass and calamari ,,,, thanks guys once again ,,, se you soon x

We had a lovely family meal yesterday. We where greeted at the door by a lovely, friendly lady, really nice with my little boy and girl and very accommodating. Service whilst there was excellent, food was delicious. We had a lovely time thankyou xx

We came here last night for my hen do. There was 15 of us and they asked us to pre order. The service was fantastic, they had written all our names and orders on a card and handed them out. This meant it was hassle free we didn’t have to remember what we had order they had even put the allergies etc so we didn’t need to repeat. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meals not one bad plate. We had a few from the set menu and the rest from the a la carte menu it was flawless. I will be returning when I next come back to Liverpool. Thank you to the staff for such a lovely evening.

Visited here last night, staff were brilliant, attentive and food was delicious! Was nice to have both service and quality when it was busy!

The food was soo good I got the clam linguini it was the best I’ve ever had so I bought the chief a drink , would 100% recommend this place .

Start to finish , had a 3 course meal with wine for two as well as a few drinks before our meal , £80 was great value for money given the food and drink quality and fantastic service to boot 👍👍

Had a superb lunch in tastefully understated surroundings. Not a melted candle Chianti bottle in sight or piped corny Italian songs. This is the real deal

Came here yesterday for my birthday and I loved it. Amazing service from the moment we arrived until we left. Staff were very friendly and welcoming,once orders was taken we didn't wait long for our food to arrive. Food was absolutely gorgeous �atmosphere within the restaurant was lovely, would defiantly come here again.

BLONDE LADY front of house is a true asset to Piccolinos fantastically lovely made us feel so welcome and relaxed knws how to run a smooth ship. Sorry we didnt catch her name..fabulous meal. Fabulous bubbles.�

21 of us went to Piccolino last night for my daughter's 18th, i cannot praise the staff enough for the service we received from booking with the lovely Lydia to leaving the restaurant last night ��� we will DEFINITELY be back

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Quiet but service and food were very good indeed. Would definitely go back.

Arrived early afternoon requested a table for 4.



Greeted with a warm and friendly reception. The waiter introduced himself and throughout our meal kept on coming over to ensure we were all ok.



Very good customer service especially liked the complentary processco 👍💃

Had a lovely night. Service and staff were great. food was amazing reasonably priced for the quality. Only down fall the drinks were far too expensive. Would definitely recommend and visit again xx

Friend took my partner & I for a meal last night, food was delicious but I think a bit over priced for what it was, bolognese & tagliatelle £11.75.

Restaurant itself had a lovely feel to it & staff are very attentive.

Called in on the hop without booking and were lucky enough to get a table. Food was nice. Service was great. Was a bit loud but it was a busy Saturday night so to be expected I suppose.

Went for lunch today with my uncle food was amazing with no fault but wish i could say the same about the waitress who served us! Communication was awful the faces pulled because i asked for food that was left to be wrapped for the homeless. I asked for the bill and showed my card she slumped the bill on the table i asked for the card machine to be told ill get it now and she wanders off to take orders of food! When she came back there was no communication again really blunt with no eye contact or words spoken! She was quick enough to take the tip left tho. I then had to ask her where the food was? that she didnt like as she was rude with her no eye contact reply "its coming!" The food was brought down from the kitchen by the gentleman who was also serving (he was lovely and polite) i then asked for a bag as she dumped the metal tray in front of me! Again it was rolling of the eyes and mumbles under her breath to be told ill get you one now walking away as she spoke with again no eye contact. I thought she was getting a bag as she was dealing with me but no! Again she wandered off to serve a table of 3-4 people taking their main order. At this point we just decided to leave. This restaurant is beautiful to the eye and the food is amazing the lady serving just spoiled our experience and resulted in a 3 star review and 2 disappointed non returning customers. Shame really because it was beautiful

We hadn't booked but were greeted by pleasant staff and told there was a table of 5 finishing their main course, predicting the table would be free in around 20mins, an hour later we were still waiting despite the table standing empty for at least 10mins. We were then sat down and greeted by a waiter who listed all the food unavailable and then took our order. The good arrived some 40mins later (no starters) which was very tasty however missing our hand cut chips which we asked two waiters for. We had almost finished our meal when the smallest portion ever seen to man was produced £3.75!! We promptly paid the bill and left. The service was poor to say the least but the food did taste good but maybe a little pricey. Our experience of Piccolino not being the best, we don't live in Liverpool but wouldn't repeat the experience if we returned.

The service was slow considering it was a Monday night and not overly busy. Also not impressed by the change of the carbonara recipe, it was much nicer the way it was!

Lovely decor, waitress with short blonde Bob, the most helpful and jolly person in the place. Large party of us, we had pre booked our food order, waitress had the list and it was all correct, food tasted absolutely perfect, each items flavour distinct, sweet potato purée under the thick slice of succulent turkey was sublime. Only negative flavour comment was for the gnocchi, very bland, also people who ordered the turkey all commented it was only just warm. Sea bass looked delicious, both ladies said it was too. Only other negative, the drinks are extortionate, £9 for a gin and tonic is a bit steep, put everyone off buying another. Expertly put together and I was told the flavours were delicious, but £9 is too much just because it had a couple of peppercorns in and a sprig of rosemary . Bring the prices down and people WILL order more. Overall though a pleasant meal.

Food was great, but a bit light on portion size with the ravioli. Service really good, tables too cramped though and draft from door upstairs

Food was fine taste wise but not very hot. Service wasn’t great though. Left ignored for large spells and then took about 15mins after ordering dessert to be told what we wanted they didn’t have in the end. Shame as like this restaurant in other places. First time been to it in Liverpool. Would have to be convinced to return ahead of other places

Been to Piccolino's in Liverpool many times, staff are always very polite helpful, and the food is usually very good but yesterday we were a party of three and we all had th lunch time menu, the starters were nice, but we all the steak & chips and I must say it wasn't very nice, my granddaughters steak was very tough and chewy,she left most of it, we also had the roasted root veg which were cold. I think it will be a long time before we visit again. I also found it strange that we were the only people in there.

We had pre ordered our meals due to being a hen party of 15, which had all been chosen in advance.

Surprised then that we had to wait for our food. Staff were unattentive and service poor. No parmasan, no one asking if you would like black pepper etc. Dis organised and such a shame for the bride to be. Will not return

My food came and the chicken was still pink inside... I sent it back and it came back pink for the second time I sent it back again and decided not to have a replacement as it put me off. The service was ok but due to the food I won’t be going back

Think it was awful come here chips was burnt steak wasn’t the best honestly had better meals in Wetherspoons never again

Poor service and dreadful food. Been going here for years but the last couple of times have been awful. We'll not be going again.
