Memories of 114

It's been a crazy few days in Pilgrims Pit camp. We've moved the venue into its storage unit and are currently looking to what's next.
On Monday whilst packing down we received an email explaining the building that was going to be our new venue was no longer an option for us so we are currently stuck in limbo.
We have limited funds that we don't want to see absorbed by storage costs and are looking for somewhere to move to ASAP. Our thinking caps are on and if anyone has any ...ideas for how best for us to move forward then please come forward.

Pilgrims Pit Jam Night has been called off as none of the staff really want to spend boxing day night cold in the Pit with the risk of a no-show circumstance.
I also believe this would've been the last jam before our move to the new premises!
That being the case Pilgrims Pit would like to thank everyone who has come down to these Wednesday nights that have been so thoroughly entertaining. We've made some right tunes guys!
... Please keep your eyes peeled for when these nights start up again in the new year in our new place!

Happy Winter Solstice All. How about celebrating the return of the light with the Last Ever Pilgrims Pit Cafe 1pm - 6:30pm.
Then dance the night away at Chickmas from 8! 4 Female Djs spinning all night long, there will be a snow machine too! (Where did we put the mop)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.
Hello all! Some of you may be aware that the collection of 7 shops on Church Street have been sold at auction. It's been a scary yet eye opening time for us.
... Thanks to all the effort of the volunteers, the quality of the nights hosted by the promoters and the excellent attendance and support of the public we have been able to move forwards on renting a new building.
We Are Not Stopping Now!
More details will appear over the coming weeks as we iron out the finer details but we have had an offer accepted on a new place that's going to be BIGGER and BETTER than before.

We are going to lock the doors to the public at the end of December so if you want to have one last boogie in 114 Church Street we have a lovely female fronted event on tomorrow. Next weekend see's the possibility of a party too and there's still a couple nights available for booking. There has also been interest expressed in running our Wednesday Jam Night this boxing day.
Tomorrow will also see us open as a cafe 1-6 :)

the EMOM gig at Pilgrims Pit last night was immense, Keeper of Bees loved playing, lovely folk running the venue, great sound, very reasonable drink prices and a stella line up.

great venue with great potential! Loved our second outing there as a Band.. Open the upstairs, got a winner... loveley people that run it and support it...

What an awesome venue ran by awesome people hosting awesome events. Top notch :)

We recently put on a night at Pigrims Pit with live music and poetry with homemade meals included. The people that run this place are amazing. Genuine, passionate lovely people that couldn't have been more helpful. Looking forward to hopefully doing something together with these guys again! :)

This place is one of a kind. Its ran by a community of individuals that have such a passion for the place it is in the best sense infectious. Once you step inside, you will step out transformed

Popped in today for brew and a chat about poss gigs and stuff....great little place doing great things for the artistic vibe of stoke on trent....

Nice antidote to the faceless corporate coffee houses - this is a coffee house of the true variety for discussing, scheming, dreaming, meeting, connecting. Beautiful bricks, artwork, vinyl and friendly atmosphere. Great coffee too and soya milk if you want it :)

My first visit 12/3/18. What a coup to get the amazing God Is My Co-Pilot. A cracking evening

I dropped into 'Pilgrims Pit' today. Work is coming along brilliantly, its going to be an amazing place! This is going to be just whats needed to show Stoke-on-Trent and further afield what amazing musical and artistic talent we have in the area. It's been hidden away too long! Cannot wait for the grand opening. ☺

Had many good times here! Run by great people who are constantly giving to the community! Get yourself down for a coffee during the day or a night filled with laughs and entertainment and music. it's the place to go!

Great to pop in for a hug and an olive and a coffee and a biscuit and a browse through records and a nosey at some art and a chat.. Ahhhh lovely :-)

Great space, great coffee awesome people, perfect for DIY music and cant wait to catch an exhibition there
