Took my 10 year old daughter for a class whilst we were in London. She was very excited and loved the class. The teacher was great and the class was busy but not too packed. The only option for kids on a Saturday was street/commercial which wouldn't have been her first choice as she doesn't normally do this type of dance but she still loved every minute. More choice would be good but overall a nice treat!

Pineapple dance studio is a great play to learn and enjoy any kind of dance, I have been learning about ballet and jezz ballet dance class at pineapple, it's not a easy class, sometimes you can see some perfection all dancer attend dance class too, Teachers all are qualified and professional.

One year already doing classes in Pineapple. I tried different classes and styles but definitely my fav one is Monday 8-9.30 Ragga Dancehall. Every single week I do this class and I can really see and feel how much I improved! The atmosphere is amazing, not just in this class but generally in studio. ÔøΩ

My daughter loves to dance since she was 3 years old. She attended a beginner Jazz class. She's 8 years old. The teacher Miss Sheila welcomed her in with the adults. We found Sheila to be patient, knowledgeable, experienced with great people skills. No question was too much for her. She was happy to instruct individuals during the class to improve their performance. My daughter and I enjoyed her teaching methods.

The reception staff upon entry were also very welcoming... They addressed my daughter politely, took her cash kindly and directed her to room 7 for class with a big smile. Brilliant customer service skills. On one occasion I came down stairs from the class to ask for information on fees and I found the staff discussing a dance orientated subject with huge smile on their faces. This made me feel really welcome to see that even the staff wetw passionate about the nature of their jobs...

Huge Thumbs up to this place ÔøΩ

I am from Spain. I went to London for the first time this weekend among other things to fulfill one of my dreams that I was dancing at Pineapple and the experience has been amazing, wonderful. I have been able to learn a lot and finally see some Hip Hop technique. Many thanks to the teachers, the reception and Pineapple in general. Academy that I recommend to everyone who embarks on the culture of Hip Hop. I will be back next year!

A great dance experience - a group of 9 nearly 50'year olds were taught a small dance routine by Kira. Fantastic, happy choreographer with Lot of patience & laughter. She Provided a great video for those memories for us to keep too. Downside the whole place is very run down & needs a serious upgrade. Not what I would expect from such a popular place. Showers need a simple curtain put in them instead of communal in today's world.

Pineapple studio is famous for having the most talented teachers and the number of students keeps increasing. But the facilities are “so so” and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The changing rooms and some of the studios need to to be renovated and cleaned.

The front desk staff is just here to collect your money if you don’t have a membership. There is a lack of professionalism. However we will keep coming here because you have amazing teachers and students and a great location!

If Pineapple didn't exist they would have to invent it.great to see lots of schools attending classes there. The Arts may not be funded by the Councils in Schools and Colleges but Pineapple provides a place for kids and Teens to express themselves in dance which is so important. I just love it.I can turn up any time and there is always a really good class that one can attend - if not Hip Hop or Jazz then it's Stretch Core Classes, YOGA or Pilates or Zoomba. Ballet is excellent and there is a whole range of good Teachers and occasional Choreographers that are on hand for a reasonable fee which won't break the bank.

User

Personally I think that this school is overrated at least for the young children. We had 3 tryout sessions and I think that to have 1 teacher for 25+ kids is not enough. Lots of kids were clearly bored and teacher on the first session was not really trying hard to engage them in activities... Dancing was ok, but once again there was just 1 teacher and how she can give the attention to so many kids? There should be at least 2 teachers there for such a big group. The lesson I enjoyed the most was singing with Jo, she was trying to keep kids concentrated and involved, however as I said it's hard for one teacher to manage such a big group of kids and there is no possibility to give them attention individually and give some suggestions to develop their personalities... Overall I think this school is overrated and the quality of teaching my girls get at Abbey school on drama&singing and dancing lessons is much higher...
