Camper awareness - wipes of any kind, flushable or not, cause huge problems in drains. They do not degrade like toilet paper. If you are camping and using wipes please take them back to your pitch and put them with your waste. Flushing them down the toilets causes blockages and puts shower blocks and related facilities out of action for an unforeseen period and could make them unavailable for the duration of your camping stay. The same applies to nappies, cotton wool etc. Thank you­¤śŖ

Stayed here from 13 Dec 2016 morning 17th Dec 2016. perfect out in the countryside near the historic town of Market Bosworth, where in 1485, the Plantaganets fought the last battle with the Tudors, and just a small refreshing walk from the Lodge.

Angela Kennedy made breakfast for us which was perfect with home cured Bacon, and Sausages farm shop produced, and free range Eggs.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, with on suite, Television, Wi Fi, and very peacefull surroundings- If you want to embrace yourself in English History, this is the place to stay- I would recommend this Lodge to tourists 5 star

Nice place to stay for the night. Warm , clean , elegant , comfy bed , lovely shower room . Complimentary breakfast . Nice pleasant welcome very friendly . Loved the stay and left feeling refreshed and very pleased to have chosen pine lodge for the night .. No complaints what so ever thank you very much . %-)

Myself and my partner regularly stay at pinewood . We always stay on the campsite and hate having to leave . Angela is a great host and nothing is too much trouble . The kids love the pool and a new toilet and shower facilty is currently under construction. The fishing lake is well stocked and so is the bar lol

Lovely quaint little campsite tucked away near Ibstock. The pool for the kids was fab. It is only a few miles from home for us but we could have been anywhere. Perfect for the six monthly catchup with my Cuz family.

Loved staying here again. Thank goodness for the pine tree to give some shade in this heatwave ’┐Į

Just spent this weekend in our new to us caravan at pinewood lodge. For a first outing, think we did alright. Beautiful surroundings, thankyou for a fantastic breakfast, looking forward to a summer of caravaning x

Just spent 2 nights here had a economy room on a room only basis. I can't fault the place we were late getting there but we're welcomed & even offered help with our bags. The room was lovely an warm very welcoming a very comfy bed with fat pillows. Lashings of hot water in a very powefull shower i could of spent hours in there! The microwave & fridge were great touches I had taken plates & cutlery & even had a table an chairs to sit & eat at. The view from chalet outside was lovely looking out over the pond even spent a hour at the pond Saturday morning feeding the fish!

Just returned from a weekend camping here and we thoroughly enjoyed it (despite a bit of heavy rain and wind). Very friendly and welcoming owners, relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful location, we wanted to stay longer.

Just had a fantastic weekend at Pinewood. No hassle. Tidy site, great bar and karaoke , with great host who are most welcoming. Thank you. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Hello all at pinewood lodge. I would like to say a big thankyou for our wonderfull stay on your campsite this weekend. My family and i had a fantastic relaxed weekend knowing our children was safe to play in your enclosed secure site field. The facilities was nice and clean and we will be returning again and again so we can make full use of the swimming pool and clubhouse on site .This is a little gem on our doorstep Thankyou again the Rawsthorne family ’┐Į

Had a great stay here, wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back. The room was perfect exceeded all expectations, the lady who ran this place was really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Sat with our cup of tea overlooking the lake - perfect !

Arrived with our caravan the 29th June to 2nd July and had the most relaxing time ever, my partner spent 2 days fishing and probably caught up to 70 fish of various variety. Angela is a wonderful hostess and very pleasant lady. I would say though that the site is more suitable to couples.

An all round great place with or without family. The surroundings are stunning, scenery tranquil and, most of all the atmosphere is welcoming friendly and, inviting. Camping, seasonal pool, fishing and, a bar . makes this place complete any time of year, come rain or shine. Highly recommend a visit ( or 3 ) ! :)

The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. So nice to have a pet friendly place. Next time we need somewhere to stay when we visit family we will stay there again.
