Wonderful dim sum and Chinese dishes with a great atmosphere, close to Regent Street, Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus.

This place is really nice, it really looks nice, we went for the Lazy Sumdays and I really would recommend it! It was so so nice and then bottomless being able to try everything you can imagine, my favourites were the escalopes and prawn sticky rice and the duck roll! It was amazing!

The food was amazing and so much of it. The only down side was while we where eating they kept trying to take away our empty boxes. I know they where trying to be helpful but we where trying to take our time not feel rushed. It was off putting

My girlfriend and I went to Ping Pong after the theatre on Saturday. Great food and really friendly staff who were polite an attentive. Toilets are slightly odd though and small.

Highly recommend the ribs, duck and ginger dumplings, chicken and cashew nut dumplings and especially the potatoe and edamame cake. The pepper crackers were also delicious. Really reasonably priced too.

My first visit although my daughter has been several times. The service was very good, food kept arriving at correct intervals and each course was excellent, very tasty and will definitely be back

User

Great service from staff, all very polite and attentive. Nice ambience. The dim sum was good too. The lazy Sumdays deal is excellent value for money. Would recommend and also return.

User

First time visiting Pingpong the waitress ( Georgiana B ) very friendly and good customer service.

The Lychee and ginger ice tea and Lemongrass and jasmine rice ice tea are both really nice and refreshing. Dim sum itself are also very delicious. Recommend to anyone who love dim sum. It’s a must try.

Always go here. The atmosphere is amazing and the prices are even better. The food is very flavoursome and there's no better competition with Ping Pong, in my opinion. Make sure you get the app or the loyalty card.

User

2nd time here and yet again amazing food, staff extremely helpful and attentive and a great atmosphere, can't wait to return

User

Very nice food and the staff were polite. Cocktails were lovely and the food was a decent price. The way to order was not explained to us but became apparent after watching another couple order. Thank you for a nice meal.

User

I enjoyed the restaurant. It was fast. A little pricey but good food overall. Atmosphere and decoration were gorgeous. I would go back for sure!

User

Great small dishes for about £5 each, loads of choice and delishious food. Service is sometimes good and sometimes not so good, but the food is always lovely, which keeps us returning.

User

Good food, good selection.Staff very helpful once you get someone's attention. Good range of drinks, but far too expensive. Overall a pleasant experience.

User

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was not great. We had to ask for things a few times, and also the food did not all come out together. Bit of a shame as really couldn't fault the food.

User

Nice Service.

The menu was confusing, we are a Dim

Sum restaurant, you are guided towards the wraps, dumplings, spring rolls, all fried and cheap ingredients within.

Food just okay, left a greasy taste in my mouth for hours after.

Too many carbs not enough protein and fresh vegetables.

Menu not for me!

My daughter and a group of her friends booked a table at Ping Pong for her 25th. The service she received was directly discriminatory in that every other customer were served but no waiters would serve or take the order from my daughters table. My daughter and her friends had to embarassingly wave to be served. To top it off there was confusion with the orders taken leaving my daughter highly annoyed and unhappy. We shall be emailing Ping Pong direct and copying our complaint to the ECHR.

If you need a restaurant with poor service to spoil your meal, you are definitely at the right place. I never in my life felt so embarrassed due to the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked a table for 12 people at the Ping Pong Soho after exchanging some e-mails with the Head of Sales & Events, who was very friendly but failed to take the time to explain about how the restaurant deals with group bookings.

It was my husband’s birthday and the negative forebodings started from the very beginning when they put us on a table extremely uncomfortable and very small for 12 people. Questioning the waiter about adding another table, he told me they could not add another table because they were unaware that a pushchair was part of our reservation and it would take up one additional space for a seat. We live in a child friendly city and it was a surprise to know that the pushchair was not welcome at the restaurant because it takes up too much space. I understand you may need to find a different solution if the restaurant is busy but there was plenty of space. The problem was solved by the polite manager (ground floor) called M. when she promptly added another table by herself.

The second problem refers to the missing information not provided during the booking. I asked about the “Lazy Sunday” in one of my e-mails wondering if we could get the offer. I didn’t specified that the 12 people booked would go for the offer and considering we were 12 individuals, I would expect that not everybody would opt for the deal. They should inform the offer conditions for groups when you book in advance, information is key.

Nine of us decided to get the offer while one couple got two set menus and one person with stomach problems decided to go for the a la carte menu. Again, we spoke to another waiter that was not well prepared to deal with the situation. The basement manager called C. explained to us that the offer was invalid if just one person at the table opted out of the deal. Unlike the first manager who was smiling and friendly, C. was extremely rude to me in front of the entire table while I was trying to explain to her that this condition was not passed on to me when I asked by email about the offer to our group.

I do not understand why she was so patronizing to me feeling being her employee rather than a paying customer. I am not obliged to know how the restaurant works. Instead of listening to our situation to find the best solution, she quickly tried to blame someone else. She asked me to forward the e-mails I had regarding the booking and I did show them to her emphasizing I WAS NOT INFORMED about any condition that could be an issue for the group.

The reason why I am sharing this long review is because this rude member of Ping Pong staff, who should never work with customers, came to our table after we requested the bill TO LET ME KNOW I was wrong because their Head of Sales & Events didn’t tell me we could have the offer with other menu (a la carte). Of course she didn’t tell me, she didn’t give any information or condition for groups that could make us think we were not entitled to order whatever we decided to eat. How was I supposed to know that? Once again, she was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me in front of all my guests. At no point during our stay, she tried to help or sort the problem out, she was there just to humiliate us.

Shall I share the other issues? We did not receive all the dishes ordered since the 9 of us had to use the same form. The waiter did not come once to check on us or to ask if we needed anything else, or just to top up the two small jars of water for 12 people. The manager served us by slamming the dishes on the table to show how happy she was having us at the restaurant. I never saw a place that works with the public so unprepared to receive customers and after reading the reviews here, I can see that customer service is a common problem for this chain. I wish I had read these reviews before.

The outcome of the lunch was 12 people that will never visit Ping Pong again or recommend to a friend. Everyone was completely annoyed with the service and with the rude manager. In addition, to sum up this review I would like to say a big thank you to Ping Pong for ruining the birthday surprise that I had planned to my husband with so much love and care.

Atrocious dim sum and a disgrace to Cantonese cooking. The wonton broth was instant noodles with the worst wontons I've eaten. The manager gave us the food on the house but had a very attitude trying to persuade us not to leave a bad review.

The gzoya was dry and far too thick, the dumplings were falling apart and leaking the soup leaving them dry and bland. The Manager claimed it to be 'westernised dim sum' making it westernised does not mean make it c***! Please go elsewhere if u have the chance
