November is Mouth Cancer Awareness month, a cancer that affects around 8,000 people a year in the UK. Mouth cancer can present as lumps or swellings, an unhealed ulcer, or red/white patches in the mouth. If in any doubt get it checked out. The main risk factors for mouth cancer are smoking and high alcohol intake, although a growing number of people are presenting with cancer linked to the human papilloma virus (HPV or herpes). This young lady was after as improvement in the alignment and length of her teeth. Given they were very close to being straight already we managed to mask the misalignment just with composite bonding. 4 hours later she has a new smile...

Rebecca wasn't very happy with the colour or alignment of her teeth. 6 months later they are lovely and straight and white! Rebecca had 4 months of Invisalign orthodontic tooth movement, followed by 2 weeks of Boutique teeth whitening and a little bit of composite bonding to add the finishing touches. Clearly she's delighted with her new smile! 😁
