This last Pink Flamingo of the year see's the ever present rockers Howling Black Soul return to the Pink Flamingo, Blues rock that shakes your fillings out! A full peddles are for cyclists and any more than 3 chords and you're a jazzer musical smashathon!!! We will also have Invaders, alt rock, funkey bass and oodles of guitar solos. This month we have the Twistlettes and the Barrel House Blues Band for your pleasure. All for free this Friday at the Railway Hotel!!! Barrel House are blues/rock band bringing a young noise to an old sound. Coming out of the ashes of Hoodsey Lock! The Twistletttes are an alt cover band! You will not be hearing sex on fire or up town funk!!!!Think Joy Division, Talking Heads, Roxy Music, Patti Smith etc etc. Also Mr Samuel D Jones spinning disks!!!

After a successful Leigh Folk Festival we are back at the Railway Hotel!! This month we have opening Leo Clemenson acoustic troubadour. Next up are folky stalwart Mucky Dennis and the Grifters, with Micky Denny Headline act is The Dog Roses!! Americana blue grass foot tapping rockers!!!

Penny Arcane make their Pink Flamingo debut, these indie jangly pop pickers from deepest darkest Westcliff will have you rocking in your pint!! Supporting them is the Invaders!! as usual this is all for free but we will be having a whip round for the bands so please give and you will receive!!!

This month to kick off the first Pink Flamingo of the year we have Paraffin Blues who last played Pink Flamingo a few years back and welcome back hard hitting alt rockers Young Machetes, all kicks off at 9ish, free to get in but there will be whip round for the artists!!

This month for our finale Pink Flamingo of 2017 we have been very lucky in persuading the Hoy Shanty Crew to perform at the Railway, Supporting this local treasure will be Mucky Dennis and following them to finish the night will be the Invaders for a bit of rock to finish the night.

This coming Friday we have three, yes three free bands for you, Local two piece Son of Buff having been given time off for good behavior are out and about rocking, next we have Gumbo, Hamond organ driven funk, finally back again is Hoodsey Lock and the Lightening Reeds, channeling Albert Lee and Buddy Guy for blues experience, all for free down stairs at the Railway Hotel, please give generously during the whip round!!!

Young Machetes feature the brothers James and David Khan. These amazingly solid hard riffers have been tearing up Basildon and are coming to the Pink Flamingo for the first time.
