What a great place this is, this was recommended by my Aunty and it did not disappoint, beautiful food, and warm and inviting service! We loved the attentive waiters that truly cared about their customers. Highly recommend!
We have been to Pinocchios a number of times now and it is our favourite restaurant in Canterbury. We came here in Valentine's Day and although it was busy, staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was as always perfectly cooked and flavoursome with an exciting menu to choose from.
We had the most amazing and memorable meal at Pinocchios in Canterbury. We were there as a table of four. The food, the service and there environment was outstanding. It was one of the best eating experiences I have ever had. Huge well done to everybody there for creating such a special restaurant - I cannot praise the place enough. We will definitely be returning and regularly and would strongly recommend here to anybody reading this. Faultless.
We booked to go here for my mums birthday and it was incredible! Not just the restaurant itself and the food but also the chef and all staff being very attentive and ensuring all our needs were met. The most amazing experience, will definitely be back and couldn't recommend it enough!
This was one of my Dads favourite restaurants and we make a point of travelling to Canterbury just to eat here on his birthday and anniversary since he sadly passed away. Lovely authentic food and very attentive staff. Never disappoints. We love eating here :)
Simply the best Italian restaurant in the world, the Food and service are second to none, yesterday my wife had the meatballs my mother the seafood pasta and my self the Italian Sausage and spinach pizza...Everybody cleared there plate and although stuffed, couldn't wait for desert, we were not disappointed...If Italian food is your thing do not overlook this gem in the back streets of Canterbury.
Recommended by a young chap working in the cathedral shop, what a fabulous place. Friendly staff and food to die for. We choose the specials of the day, delicious and at a reasonable price. Would I return, you betcha, would I recommend this restaurant, without hesitation. Go and enjoy
Really good food. Highly recommend. Can't fault at all.
Please eat here! This place is so delicious! My friends and I were on a road trip and we stopped in Canterbury for the night. We had dinner at Pinocchio's and loved everything!! Really good, fresh, authentic, Italian food! The staff was also so friendly and made the experience unforgettable. My only regret is we didn't save room for dessert because the tiramisu looked delicious!!
Obviously five stars because this is the absolute best and nicest restaurant ever. Excellent food and nice and friendly stuff that cares about your best.Thank you very much and see you again!
Had a fabulous and delicious meal, Steve had tagliatelle with courgette and panchetta, I had seafood tagliatelle, homemade pasta with clams, mussels, scallops and king prawns, the best taste ever! The sauce to die for, started off with brushetta, really fresh, the best since Rome, the best service as well! All really friendly and helpful, thanks for a superb evening and fitting us in Friday eve, so glad you did.
Great food, great service, no more need be said
Food, wine and service is always outstanding!! Bellissimo!!
Fabulous service, lovely food (make sure you ask what specials they have that aren’t on the board). Highly recommended
Delicious fresh food, lovely atmosphere, very nice place.
Delicious food - proper Italian, super fresh, and amazing staff, went with my family travelling from London and had the best Saturday lunch we could hope for, we really felt at home! Just a shame we live too far to be regulars - well deserved 5 stars!
A great place to eat, warm friendly staff and lovely food. Would recommend the scallops in saffron sauce on bruschetta bread and monkfish and king prawns with homemade tagliatelle. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again when we are in the area.
Authentic and very tasty Italian dishes served by friendly and courteous staff at the slightly high end of reasonable prices but z good meal and the restaurant was full which speaks volumes
What a shame! This is a restaurant we've been to before and loved but we will not be returning anytime soon. We travelled from medway for my mum's birthday as she really liked Pinocchios. Whilst waiting for our starters a trainee waiter accidentally poured 2 very large glasses of drink over my father, soaking his t shirt. Not a comfortable way to eat a meal but we mopped him up as well as we could with napkins. Some other waiters mopped up the floor and then it took a good 10 minutes for a lady (I presume the owner or manager) to come over to explain that the waiter who spilt the drink was new and it was the second time she'd done it that day. The lady offered dad a hair dryer to dry his t shirt but as his starter had just arrived he declined. The lady said that she would make sure she would 'sort us out later'. So we carried on thinking that a small apologetic gesture was coming our way. The rest of the meal was ok, the food average and then the bill came. Nothing had been taken off the bill or any additional drinks offered at all. We politely asked if anything was going to be done and were made to feel stupid for asking by the manager and head chef who also came over. They couldn't understand why we were expecting something in compensation for my father having 2 large drinks poured over him!!!!! The chef offered to wash my father's top the next day (hardly the point) and then my mother was told that he'd take some money off the bill as she was causing a scene! This was not customer service at its best and we were not the only ones, one other couple walked out and left after waiting too long to order and another couple had to fight to change to a different table as they didn't want to sit by the door. The attitude towards customers is very poor here. They have far to high an opinion of themselves! It's silly as if they'd made a small gesture such as giving my dad a free dessert or made his drinks free, we would've gone away happy and feeling looked after and valued as customers instead we felt the opposite.
