On Saturday 6th July 2019 a large team of Doctors, nurses and staff from Pioneer are participating in the ‘Urban Tough Mudder’ event on the Durdham Downs in support of a charity that is very close to us.
Because of this exciting event the practice will be closed. Patients will still be able to contact 111 in the usual way if they need urgent help or advice.

Carers Week 10th - 16th June 2019
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

A message shared by Public Health England:
"There has been a sharp increase in notifications of cases of mumps seen across the South West in the first four months of 2019, with a total of 663 cases reported. More than half of the cases are aged 15 – 24 years, with outbreaks seen at several universities"
