It was very intense, to a candle stick moving, a table lifting being surrounded by footsteps and shuffling. A growl to a kids voice been heard and a shadow been seen. Llanfyllin Workhouse Ghost Hunters Halloween 2018 👻

Good morning from the beautifully spooky Llanfyllin Workhouse in Wales. Thank you to everyone who travelled and came along. We had a fantastic active evening and even managed to grab a few hours sleep considering the the footsteps and doors banging. We witness children's voices as clear as day. Tables dragging, footsteps, a lady screaming and heard moans. Doors banging a chair moving by itself. The activity was amazing. Until the next time, have a safe journey home. 👻

What a brilliant team pitch black are! They are very friendly and professional and ensure you walk away with an experience you will never forget, they don't just put these events on for you but allow you to make it your own with plenty of tools and gadgets to enable you to have a thorough investigation and really explore the buildings. I have been amazed and impressed every time I have been with these guys and have had many strange things happen whilst on one their ghost hunts and plan to do a lot more! Absolutely brilliant, best ones I've booked with so far!

We have been on a few trips with pitch black now and loved it so have a few more booked in for the future. We’ve always had a great night!

This was my first ever ghost hunt experience and I picked the best way to start it off. The team made sure everyone was comfortable with light banter and attention to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience. Still skeptic so I have already booked again for 2018. Thank you for giving me the bug.

Thank you for a fab night last Saturday at The Weir Mill Stockport. Staff were lovely, very friendly and got involved. I had gone for my friends birthday and it was nice they kept us altogether, and they even got her a birthday cake!! We all had an amazing night



The only downside to the night was, we had 2 extra ladies who decided to join our group and they kept contradicting the medium and talking over him which I found rude at times.

Our 1st experience of doing this & can honestly say beforehand I was absolutely pooing myself but once we got started it was amazing team totally reassuring and when we heard/felt things and got messages I was over the moon (although somewhat emotional) and loved every minute of it!! Will definitely be doing this again I'm hooked so once again Thankyou to the Pitchblack team we will definitely be seeing you again!!

Me and my partner did a sleep over at 30 East Drive last night..steve and carrie were brilliant made us feel really relaxed they are a great hosts we had lots of laughing it was a brilliant night.doubt we will go with any other paranormal team now.. well done guys it was fab �

If anyone wants to go ghost hunting g I would definitely recommend Pitch black investigative they make you welcome are very helpful and friendly and explain everything there is no messing around they just get on with the job brill night at Park Hotel Morcambe thanks again guys xx

I've done a couple of investigations with Pitch Black now and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting an interesting experience. They make you feel comfortable in surroundings you wouldn't usually find yourself in. I'm looking forward to doing more hunts with them. �

I stayed at the park hotel in morecambe last night with the pitch black investigation team. This was my first ever time doing anything like this, I was apprehensive and a bit sceptical but all I can say is what an amazing night. The whole team were fantastic, very welcoming, helpful, informative and well organised.

During the investigation we had access to all the equipment and were encouraged to take lead on call outs, ouija board (which was a real eye opener for me) and all other aspects of the investigation. I would like to thank all the other guests who were in my group, you all played a part in making my experience a memorable one �.

I'm not going to mention the things I witnessed and experienced (and believe me there was a lot) as I feel the best thing I can say is "book up with this team and see for yourself" as I have came away with a lot to think about.

Well done and thank you to the pitch black investigation team, all your hard work and effort payed off (I will definitely see you all again) �

I normally don't do reviews but I just have to on this one! What a ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC NIGHT!! I didn't no what to expect and I was put at ease straight away, the team were all fantastic! Made sure everyone was well looked after and well Involved, I went expecting to be sleeping on wooden floors but we ended up been offered a bedroom with a bed and ensuite BONUS! Even though me and my mate got given the "most haunted room" according to some we ended up been the most comfy and warm Haha!...

Everyone was accommodated for (even though some are saying they weren't I've gotta say I musta been in a different hotel then)...

What a laugh we had even down to playing a joke on everyone before bed time I can't wait for the next one! I've defo got the bug now



P.s ppl don't use social media as a means to rant if you have a issue mention it on the day not nearly 9 hrs later! N dnt use dumb excuses as well be an adult n say it how it is... this team were amazing in all ways and all bent over backwards to help everyone so did the guests from where I was looking..

I attended the park hotel on my own as my friend who I usually attend these events with took ill on the morning.

The team looked after me and made sure I was alright throughout the night. As always the team were professional, well organised and courteous offering tea, coffee, water and biscuits during the break even went as far as offering breakfast in the morning along with hot drinks!!!! The night was full of activity along with light hearted jokes and banter!! I thoroughly enjoyed my night here and the people on my team all got involved and used the equipment that was on offer, we had a great ouji board and planchet session along with lots of other activity. I cannot wait till my next one which will be in November!!!! �

Had a brilliant night last night with the team at Mainsforth Miners Hall. This is our second hunt with you guys and as before it was brilliant! The team are amazing, they make you feel comfortable and make sure you get as much as possible out of the night. We can't wait for our other events with you ! ����

Great company to go ghost hunting with. Really friendly and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended them to anyone to has a interest. I recently went to my first one and was made to feel very welcome by the staff.

Been trying to get to the NEAM for ages and finally went last night with Pitch Black. Been on other hunts before but never with Pitch Black. What a lovely friendly bunch of people running the event. Down to earth but professional. Great cuppa provided at the break and loved the goodie bag too. I can see why events always sold out!! Will deffo go to others with these guys when we can get booked on!

Been now to two events with another booked for Halloween and future events earmarked when tickets are released. The fact that almost all (if not all totally by now) events for the rest of 2016 are sold out speaks volumes..... Carrie, Steve and their team are spot on. Above all, very professional but so funny as they take part in the hunts and get scared like the rest of us!! Each time they've had us creased with laughter one minute and almost sh***ing our pants the next when someone gets touched or bumped haha

I can't recommend the, highly enough, am so excited for Halloween and the future locations they've got next year... Bring it on!!

Attended an event (on my own) for the first time and despite being super nervous, the team put me straight to ease by being nothing but fantastic!



Great organisation and information given on the venue. I had such an amazing night exploring and the other guests were fab too. I wouldn’t hesitate to book up again, SO looking forward to the 2018 venues being released.
