With its perfect location, great atmosphere, welcoming staff coupled with a fabulous cocktail menu I'm never disappointed when I visit here. Relaxed in the daytime and fun in the evening there's nowhere else in Birmingham that's a must for me to visit. The food menu offers a great range of good food. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely location wouldn’t believe you were in the middle of a huge city. Sat outside (no one has control over the weather but it was on our side yesterday). Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us information when an ingredient wasn’t available for one of our dishes they gave us a choice of two other options to replace that ingredient:0). They showed and interest in our plans for the rest of the day “watching the football or going to Katy Perry at the arena??” (For the record we were off to the arena). Food was tasty and good variety loved the baked Camembert sharer and service was good. Will definitely go again when next in Birmingham.

I booked a table for a Xmas treat for my mom and dad who at both nearly 80. They loved it, the food was great they had cod loin, fish & chips, I had the beef bourguignon and the cheesecake was to die for . Liam was our waiter who looked after us brilliantly, keeping us informed and not rushing us at all. Thank you.

Great first experience, came yesterday after the England win over Sweden. The staff handled the chaos incredible well. Our poor waitress was rushed off her feet but managed to still provide fantastic service. Your colour changing Gin didn't disappoint. Food was lovely. I will be back

A big thank you to all the amazing staff at Pitcher & Piano who made our sit down meal for 80 on Friday 15th December a big success. Your whole booking system and all the help and support you provided in making this happen is very much appreciated by myself and our Directors.

The food and service were exceptional, especially given the large numbers you were dealing with. We would certainly book again should we be holding a local Christmas Party next year.

I’m just sorry that one of our party wasn’t happy but quite frankly you can’t please everyone and it certainly wasn’t any fault of Pitcher & Piano. You were all amazing! �

Nice little stop off whilst visiting Birmingham. Our server was polite and cheerful but others walking around looked completely fed up.

Good value for money and decent food.

Nice atmosphere. My food was good, my partner had to send hers back as inedible. Pure bad luck, no fault of the chef. Ordered a different meal, all OK.

Wasn’t charged for my partners meal AND she received a free Latte.

Staff were superb, 5*

My daughter and I sat by the canal with our drinks and the only thing I didn't like was unsavoury people walking passed and persistently asking for money, quite scary and annoying, would I visit again, probably when I next visit Birmingham

Booked a table for a meal before attending a concert at the NIA. Had been before and enjoyed the casual atmosphere and food. Arrived late due to traffic but they held the table for us as I let them know. Food was a bit slow in arriving and the waiter came and apologised before we'd even complained and offered us drinks on the house which we declined as were in a rush. He then offered us money off the bill. Exceptional customer service .would highly recommend.

Great food for a hot buffet but unfortunately the area they allocated to us - I booked nearly 4 months ago - to sit down was too small to accommodate all the food ! Management need to re think this type of service as it ruined the part of the celebration I booked and for my bride to be . They did bring an extra 1 table after I complained to server but got the feeling in general they did not seem that eager to resolve it or bother to come & talk to me about it , they just brought the extra table and this was not enough - such a shame when the food was so good . 5 x bistro round tables for 16 guests was too small for drinks and food .

Attended a Foreigner concert at the Symphony Hall last night and decided to take a beer at your place. Slightly pricey but understand your location,next to GU Canal. Spent over an hour there but the previous people’s glasses were not removed! Plenty of staff but no clearing down. Ps the 2 guys behind the bar were good. Will be back in December for the Def Leppard concert. Cleared tables I hope????

Went here for food Saturday 24th feb for my birthday with mother in law, sister and friends, 4 of us had steak everyone's was fine except mine was literally all fat no meat i asked for medium rare it came back well.done i told waitress she said she will sort it but then kept ignoring us never saw her again it was like she didnt care awful customer service total waste of money for food!

Waited forever for a uncooked starter and over a hour for the main won’t be returning *update after complaining a very apologetic waitress came and said there was no charge for everything even drinks so they did try to compensate but damage done we won’t come back

What an absolute joke, so today I had the misfortune of attending a Christmas do in this joke of an establishment. To find out I had been seated on a table the other side of the venue from my party, had to debate over my starter as it wasn’t brought to my table after already informing staff were I was seated, I’ve never known a starter to come after the main course, the girl serving our table had a disgusting attitude as if her walking round chewing gum whilst talking to customers wasn’t bad enough, the response we had from her when we asked for our food to be warmed up was disgusting. My meal never made it back to the table. Your staff really need to be trained in customer service, spoke to someone who apparently was the manger, to find out she wasn’t, to think a company of 81 people were booked in to be told it’s too much pressure for your staff.. not as if we’re paying you or anything! The turkey looked like it had been sat on the plate for a week, you ought to be ashamed of your selves- and we will not be returning next year and I definitely urge anyone who is thinking of booking with you to look else where.

Unfortunately we have visited here on a few occasions now; less than happy with the actual food not the waitress service. Food often comes out cold, dry and lacks any taste and seasoning. Disappointing considering what they charge for food. My most recent visit (yesterday) steak baguette sandwich which should have had onions, mustard in it but didn’t. It was hardly a steak sandwich. The meat was dry and seemed to be from a few days ago put back on the grill. Worst still, the steak sandwich was cold.... give this place a miss next time �

Just tried going in here with my my baby daughter to get a quick drink, whilst her mum is watching lady Gaga, I was told that we were not welcome. Now I can understand this if she was a toddler and causing a riot but she's a 9 week old baby who was fast asleep, and we just wanted to keep warm on a very cold night whilst waiting for mummy.
