Went there for my birthday last night with 18 friends and had a great night, lovely cocktails, fantastic hot fresh food and the best host ever in Doug! He was helpful, attentive and incredibly funny, basically every business needs a Doug! Already looking forward to going back again.

Went in Saturday afternoon to book a table for night time and managed to get one ,had a few drinks whilst there...very nice . Returned for a meal and got excellent food and lovely cocktails ...very friendly and good music

We were really enjoying the summer sun with a glass of wine and nice food. Would love to go back there one day.

We started a hen party here on Saturday evening. They accommodated a group of 23 and were very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Great atmosphere, top notch food and excellent service. Thank you very much guys!

We had our Christmas night out here last night and the food was amazing and we were all surprised by the size of the large servings, great friendly and attentive service and the live music was outstanding, I can highly recommend, we will definitely be back again

Visited yesterday called in for the Sunday roast, it was 2 for 1, wasn't expecting too much for the price but have to say it was one of the tastiest roasts I've had well done to the lads in the kitchen!!! Called in later that evening after we had walked the roast off for cocktails, the barman recommended the raspberry chase and green goddess, we had both, 2 of the nicest cocktails we've had � Would definitely recommend this place, nice atmosphere, great food and drink and lovely staff.

Really enjoyed our meal, we had the nachos and sweet potato fries, the fries are amazing and Defo like nothing I have tasted before, we will be returning. The lager we had was really tasty too but we have forgotten what it was called � all I know was it began with P and it was on offer at £3 a pint.....Tasty �

Like the place a lot. We always go for the wine and nibbles offer. Bottle of reasonable wine and three tapas dishes for £21.50! Great friendly staff and good atmosphere!

I went with work colleagues for our Christmas meal. The atmosphere was buzzing, the food excellent and the staff very friendly. It was a very relaxing evening and I would highly recommend it.

I held my 30th party here and opted for the £14 pp menu. I catered for 22 people and the quality of the food, organisation and space available was excellent. Staff were really friendly and the bar had good music playing with a good variety of drinks available. Thanks guys.

Had a chicken roast dinner and it was well worth the £10.50 , generous portion & all cooked to perfection, staff were friendly & helpful and right next door to Travelodge where we were staying .

Celebrated my daughters 21st birthday party here last night and just have to say what an amazing night we had! �The room downstairs was a great venue and was clean, tidy and very stylish. We were allowed to decorate the room ourselves. Events Manager Doug could not have been more accommodating and helpful, what a great guy! Indeed, all the staff here were fabulous! The buffet food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests have commented how lovely it was� Highly recommend this place, it is superb! Thank you for having us! ���xxx

We had a lovely lunch very pleased to find they do a Manhattan cocktail my fave !! The food was hot and tasty. The staff especially the lad that took looked after us getting our food etcetera he couldn't be more helpful think he was Scottish didn't get his name. Thank you for your excellent customer service

We called for a lunchtime snack & drink whilst visiting Chester. We were served swiftly by very friendly staff and the "Nachos to share" dish was delicious & sufficient for 2 as we knew we would be having a 3 course evening meal. We would definitely use this pub again.

No loo roll in toilets, please check regularly it makes good customer service!

Good food, great service, funny waiter, topped off with the monthly free cocktail - Mojito! Perfect chilled evening as usual

Was there with some friends from work two of us had some food and it was very good but when I asked for the dessert I was told it was a 30min wait there was about 15 in there and there was 6 in our party 4 more just having drinks in a different party. When I asked why so long I was told a lot has ordered desserts. ����. Would not want to go there if there's a lot having food..

Ran out of bitter at about 7pm and staff did not seem to care. Lack luster from the staff.tryed charging my mate £42 for a round that really cost 17 quid. Took um 3 goes with his help to get it right. Poor alround
