I was here yesterday with a group of friends and a member of the bar staff caught my eye... Blonde barmaid... You know who you are, i would love to get to know you, as i dont know what your name is please add me on FB if you interested :)

Had a slight complaint about some contractors working out the back of the bar. Harry was absolutely lovely, offered us a meal & drinks on the house and when we arrived every single member of staff couldn't do enough to make our visit exceptional. The food was lovely, the staff member we spoke to when we arrived was so friendly and his service was outstanding. Thanks so much guys - Had a lovely evening :)

Had a fantastic meal last night to celebrate our sons graduation. Thanks Jason for the great service.

Good pint of 1664 at £3.80. Plenty tables to sit at on a night time. Staff have everything in hand so will visit again!

Fantastic staff and great food and a lovely few pints and glasses of wine for the wife, excellent. And thank you all.

Drinks were good, not too overpriced and the bar staff were good, however, the meals we had, were terrible. Ceaser salads missing sauce and only had the smallest amount of chicken and a salmon salad that was missing 3 of the ingredients that the menu said that it came with. We were given 20% off the bill which was slightly insulting considering the salads served must have cost less than a fiver to make all three. Gorgeous roof terrace though so worth summer drinks.

Arranged a table for a friends hen party. They couldn't have been more accommodating and the service was fantastic. I can't thank your staff more, I wish I had got the names of the two members of staff that really looked after us. Thank you so much for a fantastic start to our night.

Came for a send-off meal with a friend who is moving out of town. 3 of us ordered food with avocado in which arrived black and bruised, the two avocado burgers had to be sent back. When they brought out some fresher avocado one person still couldn't eat their meal because it tasted so poor, yet when they asked for a refund they were told that they hadn't complained soon enough (even though the food was still on their plate) and were sent away. Then we ordered the brownie for desert but they didn't come with the white chocolate chips as advertised.



I really like the pitcher and piano but was very disappointed with the food and particularly the rude service on this occasion! I expect an apology and compensation.

Went to the bar was ignored by both bar staff , one walked off and the other did not even speak or acknowledge me , when he did serve me it was as if he couldn't not be bothered , and when I paid I received not a please or a thank you .Good manners cost nothing , this is not even poor customer service ..it is inexcusable .I had arranged to meet friends here the following night , but went elsewhere .

Went for a our works Christmas meal on Friday the 9th December. The service was poor, I ordered a bottle of wine which took 30 minutes to come even then I had to go and ask twice to see where it was. Our table was booked for 7pm for starters to be served for 7:30pm, we didn't get the starters till 9pm and not everyone order a starter. We complained and got 20% off food and drinks and 6 free bottles of presco..We then didn't recive our mains till 9:40 which then we was there over 2hours!! I didn't get a starter so I was starving. We then complained again because the chips were greasy so no one ate them and the steaks wasn't cooked to people's orders. We then only paid £5 each in the end and left without deserts as it would have been after 10pm when we would have received them. I won't be going there again.

Waiting longer than half an hour for food when your the only ones in there! No apology! Too busy chatting! 2 people on the bar but still waiting for drinks as they discuss there personal life! Won't be going again!!!

Terrible service. Drinks practically thrown at you from unfriendly bar staff. Ordered rose wine, given red wine, said sorry but I asked for rose, told no you didn't you asked for red, this is what you ordered. From what I can tell, people only go to Pitcher and Piano to use free drinks vouchers. If you want to buy a drink, go somewhere else.

Rude staff horrible flat shipyard ale when I asked if the barrel had gone got looked at like a piece of shit. For the price id not go back I'll like my ale and willing to pay top price but not from a snotty nose upstart
