We had our little boys 5th birthday party here yesterday. We were so impressed with the service we got from Chloe and then from Emma who were our party host and food server. They made sure everything was organised, we knew what was happening and that the kids had a great time. They are also genuinely nice people who wanted everything to go well for us. Having had 4 parties at other places and been to many others, we know this high standard of service is not the norm. Thanks guys, we loved it!!

We had my sons 10th birthday party on Sunday (harry) , they all did laser quest. The staff were fantastic . Emma and the guy helping her were fantastic helping serve all the food and make sure all the kids had a good time. Thankyou so much to Emma for making everything perfect for harry x

Visited today for my daughter’s birthday with her friend. They did trampolining, laser quest and bowling. In between we had the carvery lunch in the restaurant, which was very good, the food was really good quality. The girls had a fantastic time, at 6 years old they were on the younger side for laser quest and did find the vests quite heavy. Overall, a great experience and all the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.

Took 6 kids to laser tag today. It wasn’t an organised party as such but the staff were awesome, particularly Joesph, all went out of their way to look after us. Kids loved the laser tag and I can’t recommend the place highly enough

My son and his friends came tonight and the staff were fantastic with them. Some of them needed encouragement to join in with the laser quest but the staff supported them and managed to get them joining in, they all thoroughly enjoyed it. The Restaurant staff were fab too, food was lovely and they were patient when organising the table. Highly recommend Planet Leisure thank you again for making my 7 year olds birthday special xx

My little one loves the toddler bounce it's fairly priced and so much fun we brought him yesterday for his birthday he hasn't stopped talking about it since x

Me and my cousin have just played there and we are quasar mad and it is the best arean in the north east and we'll looked after packs and lovely and clean

We had our children’s year 6 leavers Party here on Thursday and what a amazing place and their staff are absolute superstars.



First and upmost the children had a fantastic time and I’m sure they will hold on to this added memory of ending their primary school years �



Even parents who hadn’t been before thought the place was fantastic and us that had been before already new how great it was but now understand the true meaning when a company/place go beyond expectation!



Manager Chris has been so accommodating from answering my endless emails even on his days off, accommodating children with allergies and helping put together itineraries and helping with group splitting due to our large numbers by throwing in a free Karaoke pod!



when one member of our huge group couldn’t attend a refund was given and when children wanted to change activities on the night again we could not fault this place they sorted it quick and efficiently!



Thank you so much and I’m sure you will be thrilled to hear they may have set a trend amongst their school mates so be prepared for more leavers parties from St Benets, Ouston in the future �

Great 2for1 menu on a Wednesday but had to wait a while for a table then had to wait a while for the food to be served ( was told there would be a wait as there where big table booking) then asked for tomato sauce and was told to go find it myself as they where all out on tables. kids loved the skating and was a good price.

Would like to leave a 5star review for a member of staff called charlotte as she was very helpful, went out of her way to try and help with the seating issuse and also helped with the sauce issuse. She has great customer service skills and would like her to be reconised thank you for all your help �

Booked in for bowling for our annual birthday bash which was ok then booked into tex mex restaurant arrived 5 minutes early table not ready. Only a few people in with one staff on drinks order taken with long wait(12 people in our party). Menus not handed out whilst waiting for drinks so we helped ourselves. Eventually food orders taken with 3 rounds of nachos ordered as starters which came quite promptly. Then we waited for over an hour for mains after asking what delay was!! Food then started arriving...... 2 hot meals, 5 cold others refused due to long wait etc we did speak to someone other than waitress(who was no way to blame). Anyway my sister-in-law spoke with management about our disgust with food & they did only charge for drinks & discount for starters. I think if they are going to run a restaurant it needs to be better staffed, service & ensure food is hot & served immediately!!! Ours had def been plated & not sent out as quick. I def will not return & neither will our relatives.

Being short of money after Christmas we couldn’t justify the money for bowling as we normally do but I came along yesterday with my daughter and two grandchildren to give them a couple of hours out as they both enjoy roller skating. We were very disappointed to find you have discontinued your bar menu as previously that has provided a meal at a reasonable price and your afternoon menu stops at 4pm. The prices on your menu now are quite expensive when you take into account the bowling charges and also the skating charges if the children want to do both. Both myself and my daughter had a Hazelnut latte which cost £2.90 each (quite pricey for the size) and my grandchildren had a slushy each which we were shocked to find you are charging £3 each!! A shop up the road from home charge £1 for the same size!! We left feeling slightly ripped off which is very disappointing considering we often use you for bowling and have also held children’s parties with you. It’s a shame that you seem to be pricing yourself out of a lot of people’s reach who just wish to come out for a couple of hours reasonably priced fun!

1st time we have visited planet leisure, I booked a lane online for 3 o’clock. I told the lad on reception who advised me to use lane 9 at 2.50 after the previous players. A couple of minutes into our game 3 members of staff told me I had to leave this lane as it was closed and I was told to go to reception. I advised the older staff member that I had been told to come onto this lane and begin playing. He again told me to go to reception. I was made to feel like a criminal! A younger staff member came up to me and told me I wasn’t supposed to start playing till 3 and that I had to go to lane 11. I again explained that I had done what I had been told to do when I checked in. I was told to go to lane 11, no apology or anything. I did not like how I was treated or spoken to as I was ushered from the lane by 3 members of staff! As this was my first visit I’m not sure if this is a regular occurrence but it certainly took the shine off my visit.

Went there for a wedding function. Although the room was great the bar service & prices was terrible. Completely overpriced & ran by kids who haven’t got a clue. The same 2 drinks was never the same price. I was considering booking the venue for a function but I will be looking elsewhere now

Shocking.. little children forced to watch a short health and safety film before using the trampolines, informing them that if they do certain moves etc they could DIE!! Not age appropriate, totally OTT and had my daughter and friend sobbing hysterically and so traumatised they wouldn’t go on the trampolines after the film! If your going to do health and safety overload please make sure it’s age appropriate

the worst staff and service ever, your stood waiting 4 a menu staff just talking, thank god a customer left 1 on the counter.. then a member of staff just cutting you up as your walking.. emptying the table no have you finished? Was food ok? Nothing...

Went for daughter in laws birthsdy and thought would have game if bowls of first then order food. It’s was 8.15 and quite busy and kitchen was closed. Not only this but no hair nets in sight for girls with long hair. Being in the trade myself I do know for a fact that this a health nd hygiene requirements came out out at 8.30 and people still goin in so hopefully no one is expecting food. Sorry but to be honest poorly ran and staff just don’t really care

1st time we have visited planet leisure, I booked a lane online for 3 o’clock. I told the lad on reception who advised me to use lane 9 at 2.50 after the previous players. A couple of minutes into our game 3 members of staff told me I had to leave this lane as it was closed and I was told to go to reception. I advised the older staff member that I had been told to come onto this lane and begin playing. He again told me to go to reception. I was made to feel like a criminal! A younger staff member came up to me and told me I wasn’t supposed to start playing till 3 and that I had to go to lane 11. I again explained that I had done what I had been told to do when I checked in. I was told to go to lane 11, no apology or anything. I did not like how I was treated or spoken to as I was ushered from the lane by 3 members of staff! As this was my first visit I’m not sure if this is a regular occurrence but it certainly took the shine off my visit.

Went there for a wedding function. Although the room was great the bar service & prices was terrible. Completely overpriced & ran by kids who haven’t got a clue. The same 2 drinks was never the same price. I was considering booking the venue for a function but I will be looking elsewhere now

Shocking.. little children forced to watch a short health and safety film before using the trampolines, informing them that if they do certain moves etc they could DIE!! Not age appropriate, totally OTT and had my daughter and friend sobbing hysterically and so traumatised they wouldn’t go on the trampolines after the film! If your going to do health and safety overload please make sure it’s age appropriate

Yes plenty of entertainment ie skating, bowling and trampolining

BUT

the worst staff and service ever, your stood waiting 4 a menu staff just talking, thank god a customer left 1 on the counter.. then a member of staff just cutting you up as your walking.. emptying the table no have you finished? Was food ok? Nothing...

Went for daughter in laws birthsdy and thought would have game if bowls of first then order food. It’s was 8.15 and quite busy and kitchen was closed. Not only this but no hair nets in sight for girls with long hair. Being in the trade myself I do know for a fact that this a health nd hygiene requirements came out out at 8.30 and people still goin in so hopefully no one is expecting food. Sorry but to be honest poorly ran and staff just don’t really care
