Platt Fields Bike Hub Description
Welcome to Platt Fields Bike Hub ŌĆō a space designed to host various community focused bicycle projects. We are a not-for-profit group working to improve cycling in Manchester.
Our physical hub lies in the old Boathouse by the lake in Platt Fields where we host a plethora of interesting and unusual bicycle related activities. We warmly welcome people from across the city and further afield. Be it tuition, meeting space, selling reconditioned secondhand bikes, repairs and servicing, or building non-mainstream and unusual bikes, weŌĆÖre ambitious and incorporate it all.

It's that magical time of year when we take a week off and celebrate Christmas. Plattfields Bike Hub will be open this Thursday 19 December from 11-4 and on Saturday 20 December from 11-5.30 We will be closed from Tuesday 24 December and will re open on Tuesday 7 January 2020

Hello bikers! We are absolutely thrilled to announce we have just received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to finally upgrade & beautify our beloved Boathouse, home of our bike Hub! We plan to design and paint a tonne of huge, colourful murals to celebrate bikes [of course!], diverse communities and the importance of green spaces - amongst other things. We are completely o p e n to suggestions and ideas about what positive messages or content the users of Platt Fields Park and the Hub would like to see.
