We have been so busy over the last few months, with new families starting, families leaving to go on maternity leave to have babies number 2 and 3. Families returning from maternity leave. There have been 3 new babies born already, all returning later this year. Lots of new families signed up ready to start in March, April, July August and September.
Now you know why I haven’t posted much on here.
... Over the next few weeks I will post some of the fab things we have been up to. ☺️

Wow we have been busy the last few weeks, I've just been writing up what we have been doing and we have certainly had a fun packed few weeks, play groups, Jo Jingle sessions, parks, picnics, bug hunting, dressing up, puppet shows, trips out to Anderson Boat lift, den building, Walton gardens, messy play, trips to the ice cream farm, bowling, vegetable painting, birthday parties, baking, role plays, making rain catchers, discos, bell ringing at the church, welcoming our new families. Pictures to follow. I really do love what I do. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow is there really only two weeks left of the "summer" holidays?
We have had some great days out so far. We have so many wonderful places to visit just within either a short drive or walk from our setting

We hope you are enjoying the start of the school holidays?
We are just enjoying a short break, before returning to a fun packed summer with all of our little ones.
We have new families starting. We have our school holiday children returning. Exciting times ahead.
... If you are looking for childcare whether it be, full time, part time, term time only or holiday cover why not get in touch to see how we can help. Having two great assistants, as well as myself, allows us to have a small group of children every day, however still in a home from home setting.

Today we have been creating our very own band, the children loved getting the musical instruments out. I'm not sure I recognised all the tunes but hey that doesn't matter, the most important thing is we had fun! We also did our daily watering of our very own sunflowers which are doing great!

I'm delighted to announce that following our recent OFSTED visit we have been graded a Good, and in the words of the inspector a strong good. This was our first grading inspection and I am absolutely over the moon. All our hard work and the continued support we offer to the children and families has been recognised.

What a fantastic day, I really do love summer! Today we explored the sandpit, building sandcastles, making patterns with our fingers, chopping and cutting the sand!
We also had our paddling pool out, it was lovely to cool down, they really enjoyed pouring, carrying, making bubbles, and I think the little ones enjoyed splashing the grown ups the most

So today we had the pleasure of Welcoming Jo Jingles into our home. As a setting we are able to continue to offer excellent childcare services in a home from home environment and still being able to enjoy some of the many fantastic groups around. We teamed up with a fellow childminder which meant we had a great audience for Jo. All the children loved the session which will now run weekly from our play room. Thanks Jo (Cheryl) I can't recommend her enough, she's great, I know she runs sessions in Hartford, Blakemere to name but a few.

Walton Gardens is a great day out, you only pay for parking, there is a small Zoo, a huge park, beautiful gardens, mini golf, a fantastic playground which caters for all ages. One of the many days out we have, we love this place

What a great two weeks of the Easter holidays we have had. I'm sure all the little ones will sleep well tonight, I know I will. Happy Easter everyone one. Pics will follow tomorrow

The 2nd week of Easter Holidays are well under way. Our new assistant (Lou) started Monday joining both myself and Judith.
Lou has settled in really well, the children love her and it feels like she has always been here. Another great team member. So far this week, we have visited Gro Zone, experiencing the tots session, which runs weekly. Roker Park, then a fun packed day today, Easter Crafts, messy play, bug and nature hunt, painting nails, socialising with our friends then finished off with an Easter Egg hunt.

We had a great time at our new Cinema at Barron's Quay today. The staff were so friendly, a very clean setting. I certainly recommend it. We attended the £2.50 showing of the Trolls movie. We then walked through the town and went to the library, we took our books back, chatted with some other children, then we picked our new books and headed home.
... The Children had a great day, one even asked if we were going to the cinema again tomorrow!

A Fab start to the Easter 🐣 Holidays, it always helps when the weather is on our side. Yesterday we were able to head to Marbury park for, bug hunting, climbing trees, bubbles, parachute games, picnic and fun with our friends. Today we have been able to walk to Gro Zone for some adventures then we headed to the park for a picnic, a play with our friends, before heading back to play in the garden then eating Ice Creams. Wow I love the holidays, this weather and doing what I do ❤

What a busy two weeks we have had, Shrove Tuesday, St Davids Day, Play groups, Play Barns, crafts, planting, outdoor play. We have covered all areas of learning, physical development, communication & language, expressive arts and design, just to name but a few.
We are regulated by Ofsted, and follow the EYFS. The same as any nursery, pre school. However we feel there are some great benefits of using a home based setting.
... We have spaces available from September so please feel free to get in touch if you are returning to work.

My little boy has been coming to Sarah for the last couple of months. I went back to work after my maternity ended. Sarah was the first childminder I went to and after our first meeting I just knew I wanted her to take care of my son.

He loves it and never gets upset making it much easier and happier for me to go to work. She is not just a childminder she is also a friend to me and gives me advice whenever I need it. Thank you Sarah and the gang xx
