Today the Toddlers have been looking at real vegetables, Kelly provided them with potatoes, carrots and peppers which were used in roleplay. The Toddlers used money to pay for the different items before using them to create different meals in the kitchen area.

Santa has had a very busy morning meeting the babies and toddlers, he's now having a well deserved nap, ready to meet our preschool!

This week in babies we have been exploring lots of Christmas sensory play. We're all getting ready for the big mans arrival

This morning the children in Pre school have had lots of fun in the curiosity wonderland, they have really enjoyed exploring the different materials and playing with the winter animals.

Thank you to everyone who attended our fantastic Pre School Nativity this afternoon at Christ Church . The children's performance was amazing . A big Thank you to Naomi and the Pre School team who have put a great deal of time and effort into making the show such a great success .

Oh mischeivious Elf has found our chocolate supply in the cellar and disappered upstairs for a cheeky snack !

What an amazing fairy night we have had! We can’t wait to see the children’s faces on Monday when they come in to a decorated nursery!! We would also like to introduce you all to our very own elf on the shelf! I wonder what she’ll get up to in the nursery! 😊

Look what the toddlers made today - we made a bird feeder from our old pumpkin! We loved filling it up and hanging it out for the birdies, we hope they enjoy there meal!!

Today the Toddlers have really enjoyed an Autumn walk in the beautiful sunshine. They have created a collage to share with families what we found on our walk. We had an amazing time in the leaves and collecting lots of Autumn treasures!!!

Today the children have really enjoyed having a spooky tea for Halloween , thank you sue for our spider pizza muffins and pre school for making spider biscuits .

Today in babies we have been exploring the textures, taste and smell of pumpkins! We enjoyed scraping out the middle, emptying it out then putting it all back in again! We are so excited for our spooky Halloween on Wednesday! I wonder how many pumpkins you will spot around nursery, and what everyone will be dressed up as! Happy Halloween 🎃

look at the fun things we have been doing in Pre School, this week F is our sound of the week and we have enjoyed making firework pictures, funny feet, flower paintings, family pictures and lots more. We have also followed some of the childrens interests which have included baking where we made some yummy cookies and practiced our counting using autumn treasures and fish.

This week in babies we have been exploring lots of things we might find outside in autumn. The babies loved smelling the cinnamon sticks and hiding the conkers under the bark. I wonder if you can think of anything else we might spot in autumn?

In Toddlers we are loving exploring our topic - the campsite! We have been listening to the sounds a fire makes, talking about fire safety, making marks in playdough, counting and comparing sizes, along with exploring all our autumn treasures! We are having a amazing week so far!

Here are our first steps at making our nursery more heuristic, we love our landing and think it looks inviting, and homely. We have lots more ideas, so keep your eyes peeled for changes in the nursery, and tell us what you think?
