Yesterday we had a lovely visit from Lucie with baby Hattie, Lisa with baby William and Leia with baby Delilah. Thank you ladies it was so lovely to see you all.

Starting School September 2019 – Important Information Are any children in your setting due to start school in September 2019? If you care for children born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015, they are eligible to start school in September 2019. Please remind their parents to apply for a school place as the deadline is imminent. APPLICATION DEADLINE: TUESDAY 15 JANUARY The online application system is available now and the deadline for all applications is Tuesday 15... January 2019. Applications made after this date will be considered after all applications received prior to the deadline and may jeopardise the offer of a place at the parents preferred school. Applying online is simple and the applicant will get an instant email acknowledgement that the application has been received. If the applicant does not have internet access, it is available for up to two hours free of charge at West Sussex libraries and Children and Family Centres. Full information regarding making an application, including a school catchment checker, can be found at www.westsussex.gov.uk/admissions. When dropping off or collecting your children at nursery, can you ensure that you close the door behind you. Sometimes the children get upset when their parents/carers leave them and try to follow them out - even though they may have already left the building. The security in the setting is very tight and I want to reassure the children as much possible.

A little reminder - please do not use your mobile phone whilst in and around the setting. This is to safeguard the children who are in attendance. Thank you in advance.

Any suggestions? We are looking to update out Teatime menu. This is just a light meal that the children eat at 4pm before they go home at 6pm. What do your children like to eat for Tea?

Please can I remind you not to put food of any kind in your child's bag. We offer snack here so you do not need to provide your own snacks. Also, other children have allergies and we would hate for anyone to have a bad reaction. Thank you in advance.

I just want to say a massive well done and thank you to Rachel Little, Leiaa Fitchett, Poppy Jupp and Tracy for all working so hard with the children in making such a wonderful little performance today. The children were just beautiful and I am very proud of every one of them. All of the hard work paid off - their little faces were amazing. Reminder: 2 year olds Christmas play tomorrow 4th December. First play at 9:30 please bring your children in ready for 9:15 if they are not in the session. Second play at 10:30 please bring your children in ready for 10:15 if they are not in the session.
... Please my I remind you that the children are only Young and although they have been amazing during practice, a lot of the children may be overwhelmed by the experience and may want you. If your child does get upset please don’t hesitate to comfort them.
Please make sure you bring your tickets with you and any donations collected will go towards our garden fundraising.

It’s December!!! Hooray!!! As of next week - the children (and staff) can dress up every day till we break up. It can be a Christmas theme or anything you would like... bring on the festivities. Please make sure you dress your children in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as we have a lot of creative activities in the lead up till Christmas and we wouldn’t want to ruin anything. Thank you.x

A MASSIVE thank you to Sharon, the team and beautiful children for singing at Lights On this evening!!! And to Mandy and Tif on the Jazzy Jar stall. And of course you guys for making it all possible.x

The car park will NOT be open tomorrow due to 'Lights On'. Please leave a few minutes earlier to find a car parking space and to collect your children on time. When you are collecting at 4pm, may I remind you that you will be redirected to the side entrance (to the right of the double doors) to collect your child from nursery - unless you have already purchased tickets and will be staying for the event.

We have Christmas card lists available now if anyone would like one. Also Nativity tickets are waiting for you to collect.

We have recently received information that suggests that many families with children who are due to start school in September 2019 have not yet made an application for a school place. As stated in the ‘Information for Parents: Starting School in September 2019’ leaflet, ‘We would advise parents that applying online very close to the deadline (Tuesday 15 January 2019) could be difficult due to high user volume. Please apply ahead of the deadline, after visiting schools and considering the admission arrangements. The online system will close at 23:59 on Tuesday 15 January 2019.’
