The Playroom provides excellent quality care for children in a friendly, stimulating and safe environment. With over 17 years of running the Playroom and an additional 10 years of experience in working in nurseries, Bahar runs the Playroom with passion, care and love. At the heart of the Playroom lies Bahar's love for providing children with good quality, loving and safe child care. Learning through play and helping children grow to the best of their abilities.
The Playroom is a family run business. Bahar and her two staff ( Alev, her sister and Nehir/River her daughter) cater to every child's individual and unique needs.

Our son has attended the Playroom from age 12 months to now (aged 3 and half). We have felt so happy and confident with the care they have provided. Most importantly it is an incredibly caring and loving environment which has provided a 'home from home' for our son. The small group size has suited us perfectly - providing the stimulation and social aspects of a nursery while ensuring he's been part of a small, supportive and consistent peer group that has felt more like an extended family to us. Alongside the level of care provided the staff have also been extremely flexible when our needs have changed and provided extra support when needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Playroom to anyone and would be happy to be contacted for references.

Our boy has attended the Playroom for nearly two years and has been so carefully nurtured and educated by Bahar, Nehir and Aliv...they have excellent knowledge, generosity and humour. We're all sad that he'll move on this year. I can't recommend the Playroom highly enough.

My dauther has been going to Bahar's since she was 10 months old - grew up together with Bahar, Alev, and Nehir, and all other children as lots of them have been going there since they were babies too. Sad that she'll 'graduate' from Bahar's this year, as they are like her family now! The Playroom provides a caring and safe environment for kids to grow up yet is very flexible catering parents' needs. I'm glad I've found this place, highly recommended to those who live in this area :)

I found The Playroom when I was pregnant with my first child, almost 10 years ago. I knew from the minute I walked through the door (I'd walked through a few!) that this was the place for us. He started at 8 months old as did my daughter who leaves to start reception in September. Both my children see The Playroom as an extension of home, the care they have received is amazing and I would not hesitate in recommending Bahar and her amazing team.

I discovered Playroom whilst looking for childcare for my one year old daughter and knew from my first visit that this would be the perfect nursery for us. Bahar and her lovely team look after a small group of children of mixed ages with great care and love. The environment is very homely and the daily routine well structured. These lovely ladies are flexible and helpful and we have begun to see them as family. My daughter is now 6 and at school but my son has also been at Playroom for 3 years and will be leaving this Summer. We will miss seeing Bahar and her team every day!

I did 7 months of work experience here as part of my college degree. I have worked in other nurseries as well nut i can honestly say the staff at this nursery build a great bond with EVERY child and their parents. Children are given various activities throughout the day that help them develop physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally. The nursery provides freshly made food everyday taking in consideration the children's dietary requirements. This has been the best experience for me as a trainee teacher and would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Bahar and her team looked after my daughter from when she was 8 months to 2.5 years and the level of care was excellent. The Playroom's small, homely setting was a fantastic half-way house between a childminders and large nursery, providing her with 1-2-1 care but with enough other children (approx 7-10) to help her learn to socialise. We had to move our days around a few times and Bahar went out of her way to accommodate our changes. I would not hesitate to recommend The Playroom!
