This year marks the 20th anniversary of Plaza Premium Group and what an amazing 20 years it's been!
Plaza Premium Lounge first opened it's doors in Hong Kong International Airport 香港國際機場 in 1998 and 16 years later, we opened in Terminal 2 Departures of Heathrow Airport.
Since opening our first lounge at Heathrow Airport in 2014, we opened 5 more lounges, covering Terminal 2 Arrivals and Departures, Terminal 3 Arrivals, Terminal 4 Arrivals and Departures and Terminal 5 Depart...ures.
Our Terminal 2 Departures lounge has also won the Skytrax award for the World's Best Independent Airport Lounge for 3 consecutive years.

Well worth the cost. Great curry for lunch, comfy chairs, papers, magazines and great service. The bar was perfect with nibbles and a few very nice pino Grigios....in fact had to run to catch our flight! Have used this lounge in two different terminals now and had excellent service both times. Certainly a great way to destress. Highly recommended.
Was a very relaxing experience. Good food, drink and free WiFi. Would definitely recommend
Very nice selection when it come to lunch plenty of selection of soda drink u don't need to get to the bar for a pop drink, comfy chair, I guess that platinum American Express was a good investment after all �

This lounge is really nice. There was a much better assortment of food and beverages than other lounges I've been to but it was the warmth and friendliness of the staff that wins the day here. Excellent wifi signal, comfortable setting, and helpful, friendly staff. Really nice experience. Looking forward to going back next year.

22nd June: The lounge was very relaxing and the choice of food was excellent. Unfortunately we lost our camera in this lounge, we did not realise it was missing until we got on the plane. It was not handed in so an opportunist thief got lucky. It was a birthday present for my husband. The staff were very friendly and responded to our email about the camera very quickly. The lounge interiors was very good and very relaxing .. however food needs to improve .. hardly any choice .. smaller lounges in heathrow have more variety .. if food gets better it could be such a great lounge !
To be honest I have been in better lounges, we arrived and we're told that prosecco was a 'premium' drink and therefore were charging an extra £5 per glass. I had specifically checked the website and it stated that champagne and specific spirits were classed as premium which I think is fair enough; however, prosecco is a cheek as it is not a premium drink. The food was in fairness delicious and the lounge comfortable.
The manager was completely uninterested when I complained and some of the bar staff made it very clear they had better things to be doing, plus they kept running out of ice... The experience was ok but to be honest I would not bother booking again as I don't think it was worth the money and the 'misunderstanding' about the prosecco ruined the start of our holiday.
Time for a whole new staff! Front of house were mildly pleasant but inept.The lady was on her mobile phone texting when I was waiting to ask her a question.Inside the lounge the staff were apathetic at best with the exception of one young gentleman who was helpful and pleasant.
Fix the flickering be lights, incredibly annoying.Music is fine but too loud and the sky system is from 5 years ago! Update needed.
Furnished okay with comfy seats, and the shower facilities are quite good. Food was okay with an adequate selection. Would use again if in a jam but certainly not recommending to people for £35.

In the T 5 lounge. Absolutely disgusting. Food looks days old. Croissants are like rocks, would love to know what their all by date is. Staff couldn't give a toss. Cutlery is dirty, staff just shrug. This is a complimentary 'perk' on my bank account. If I'd paid I would be seriously pissed!
If anyone is thinking of booking with Plaza Premium Lounge Terminal 2 Departures at Heathrow Airport, don't bother! The venue is a dirty, shabby, noisy, overcrowded hellhole. The premises needs a complete refurbishment, a deep clean and the management urgently require a serious think about what clientele they wish to attract. I booked in for 2 hours of relaxation before a long journey to New Zealand. I couldn't wait to leave and get some peace and quiet elsewhere! A group of couples on a 50th birthday party were in there for hours on end, knocking back free booze and being as loud and lairy as possible. The food selection was mediocre and paltry. This is the first airport lounge that I've visited, which I genuinely hated. Save your money and go to one of the decent bars/restaurants after security.
