We had a Sunday dinner shared platter on Sunday.... excellent food and the service was great. We've been raving about it. We'll definitely be back.

The new taster menu on Thurs 28th was superb. I do like the pub the atmodphete is always welcoming and we plan to eat in there more often. We had family Xmas dinner there Dec 16. Great day xx
Popped in for food with a couple of friends after a walk with the dog, cannot fault it at all! Chris was awesome, best service ever! So friendly, polite and lovely! Came over to take our order and made sure to bring some water over for Bonnie (doggo) � not to mention the food was amazing! 100% recommend and will be going back!
Husband and I ended up there last night due to most other places shutting their kitchens at 8pm on a Sunday and were v impressed. New people, new menu and lovely wine - which you can't say about many pubs! Baked camembert was HUGE and finally a place that's got the lighting just right 👌
Had the chicken roast and had to take half the meat home with me. Great food and great service. Well worth a visit.
Had a lovely lunch while watching the football Saturday. A real genuine friendly service and very welcoming even making time to give attention to my baby who came along with us. Lovely chicken katsu burgers too.

Well the music was top notch!! And the food was gorgeous but I just wish you would bring back the burger with blue cheese and mushrooms ��
Monday night: quiet, great service, good range of beer, really nice food, only bad point was other sweary customers, but you can't do much about that in a pub sadly. Sunday lunch inside: mega nut roast. Good kids meals.
Nit bad but can get very noisy as it has no soft furnishings si every sound is bounced about. Too noisy fir a quiet chat as you have to shout to be heard. Not for me sadly though the food us quite good which is a vit if a shame

Don’t get me wrong, the food and drink were great but I’ve been here many times and it always takes aaaaaages to get the food. Food is til 10pm but it shouldn’t take until that time for it to be received.

Waitress: sorry we don't serve fruit shoots we can put apple juice in a glass though (fair enough but who wants to give a 20 month old a glass)

Such potential in this place, nice decor and a nice vibe but always a huge wait on food and often at the bar... By now the management should realise it's a popular place and staff accordingly it's always a problem for me getting served ...

Not happy you put rose wine up from £16 to £18 now drinking in George and dragon £11.45 not even there house rose and it's lovely
I wanted a non meat dish but was very disappointed to find there was very little choice for me apart from fish chips and peas which I did not want.
I choose the risotto with asparagus but when it arrived it looked very greasy and nothing like risotto. Some of the rice was not cooked and was hard, I should have said something to the staff but I was hungry and there was really nothing else to choose, very disappointing and the lights were dimmed after 8:00 pm making it very dark, it was probably to make it feel atmospheric but just didn't work.

I can’t believe what I’ve just seen. The Barmaid stroking a customer’s dog and then goes back behind the bar to collect people’s food without washing her hands and this is allowed in an eating place? Plus serving drinks too. It’s not the cheapest place to eat neither. She’s still stroking the same dog now and serving food and drinks too!!!! And they allowed the dog behind the bar too, where the food was being collected from!!!!

Haven’t been in for about 4 years it used to be a lovely friendly old fashioned pub now it’s a trendy wine bar I walked in and walked straight back out!!!
