About Plumpton Pavilion Project
A small group of people trying to make a difference to a tired Pavilion and Play Park.

It's been busy weekend. A massive "thank you" to The Vinyl Capris, who played a intimate gig at the Pavilion this weekend, donating takings to the New Pavilion Project. Good luck at the London gig!
A massive thank you to all those that came out to kick start phase two of the Play Park renovation. We have been awarded a small grant from the Zero-Hero's campaign to clear the stretch of brambles along side the play park. It is hoped we can turn this wasted area into a educational / play woodland path. Pictures and updates to follow.

Car Park will be closed on Thursday 3 July for the safe removal of the Container. Thanks for your cooperation.
Park due to be fully opened by the end of the week. Please rest assured there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes in trying to sort this minor problem out, without causing undo risks. Thank you for your patience
A big "thank you" goes out to Plumpton Athletic, especially Raymond Nye who are watering the new grass at the play park. Hopefully we will be able to open up the sand pit by the weekend.
Thank you all for your patience in waiting for the new park to open. The children have been amazing. Some slight issue with the new turf but hopefully to be sorted soon. Thanks again.
Can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Or something like that.
Contractors start the New Play Park on 14 May. We're sorry for the lack of play park whilst work is undertaken but hopefully you will agree its worth it!
New Play Park is getting closer. Contractors hope to make a start next week. Fencing will initially been erected and the site made safe before removal of the old equipment. We'll keep you posted here for regular updates.
We are delighted to announce the contract for the Play Park re-design has been awarded to Hags SMP. We look forward to work commencing very soon.
Great effort by everyone. A variety of hedge plants planted along the north fence. The beginning of the re-vamp has started.
A massive "thank you" to all that came out on a windy Sunday morning to help plant a new hedge along the Play Park fence. Great effort by Dads, toddlers and dogs!
Play Park is on track. Work to start before the end of spring! Before that, we have 100 small trees that we would like to plant along the north fence of the Play Park. Any help gratefully received on Sunday 23 March. 10.00am - 12.00. Refreshments will be available. - Bring your own tools. Thank you.
