You will cover. . .

News and feature writing for all media platforms, interviewing, sub-editing, headline writing, proof-reading, design and layout for apps and print, social media skills, video and audio production and editing, media law and if that isn't enough shorthand too.

PLUS you will. . .

Create a magazine both as a mobile app, website and in print from scratch.
Shoot and edit videos for the web and report your experiences on the daily blog.

Spend two weeks on work placement at a magazine or website.

INTRODUCING: Our new post A-Level course, "The Apprentice Multimedia Journalist"

Why spend three or even four years studying for a journalism degree, when we can teach you all you need to know in 12 weeks?

Our post A-level certificate will save you thousands of pounds worth of debt and set you in the job market years ahead of your peers.

But you don’t need to “miss out” on the university experience – at PMA you will be working and socialising with people your own age.

But forget about falling asleep in the back of long, boring lectures. Journalism is a practical skill and we’ll treat you like working journalists from day one.

Of course, you’ll also get a few formal exams, course work and a graduation day attended by top publishers and editors.

It’s work hard — play hard at PMA. And at the end, you’ll be on your way to a successful media career.

Be prepared to write off three months, but also be prepared to have an amazing, life-changing experience.
