This lovely Toyota Supra was on the ramp last week for the LSD to be removed and torn down to be inspected. Along with all new oil seals a quick lick of paint and some fresh oil, it’s now back on the road 🤩👍🏼

We would just like to inform our customers that we are still opening during this tough time. We are keeping ourselves open and avaliable, mainly for emergency work to keep you on the road but we are also carrying on with all usual work too.
To ensure the safety of us and yourselves we are sanitising door handles, steering wheels, gear sticks, handbrakes etc. Before entering your car and once we are finished. Aswell as wearing gloves non stop and replacing them for... every car. We are also wiping down all door handles/cars machines etc in our office after every use. We are also practising social distancing and asking everyone to keep a 2m distance at all times.
We will no longer be taking cash payments until the foreseeable future but are accepting card payments / bank transfer (preferred).
We hope all can stay safe and well through this manic moment in time.

Week of gearbox services! First was a BMW 535D with the ZF 6 speed automatic. Aswell as replace the oil and oil filter we also removed the mechatronics unit to change the oil seals above. Second being a scirocco with a 6speed DSG gearbox for a simple oil and filter replacement. Both now have much smoother and precise gear shifts. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE “sealed for life” that manufacturers say as nothing is guaranteed for life and everything deteriorates over time! We also only ever use genuine oils and filters when servicing gearbox’s as putting the slightly wrong oil in can cause problems in the future due to premature wear!

All changes can be reversed if you later decide to. A backup of your current map is always saved along with your new tuned file.
As well as power & torque, throttle response will also be greatly increased and most if not all flat spots will be eliminated. 😄
As a natural consequence of more torque you may also see better fuel economy. Depending on how you drive, you could see up to a 2 - 7mpg improvement. However, this can vary from vehicle to vehicle.
