The company was born in the Famous Darenth Valley, Kent back in 1996 and our carp bait soon grew a healthy reputation for banking numerous big fish and multiple captures by our customers and being based within the Valley, gave us the perfect platform to provide local anglers with our products.
After 15 years of testing and developing carp bait we strive to improve year after year and today we believe that we have produced a range of carp bait that not only catch fish, but also nutritionally benefit them. We pride ourselves on sourcing the highest quality ingredients, even down to using Free Range Organic Eggs.
Our results speak for themselves and being freshly rolled to customers orders and no added preservatives, our bait is full of “Carpy” goodness. Poacher Baits has grown and spread its wings to all areas of the UK and abroad and we have recently moved into a larger premises and have a base in the Midlands to cope with anglers demands.
Our aim is to provide a quality product and help the angler to achieve their goals. Bait is a major part of modern day carp fishing and we have an edge we would like to share with you. Thanks for reading our introduction……. . feed them and they will come!

Chris Mirrlees and his dad had an absolutely superb week over on Lake Tarnaud in the Marne Valley recently...here’s a few details below...⬇️
Between the two of them they banked 46 fish over the week (the second biggest haul the lake has produced in over 3 years 😏) and Chris broke his PB in the shape of a 47lber 😃.
Over the course of the week the chaps used generous amounts of our T&M and R&R and the winning tactic was keeping mobile...with Chris frequently moving up and down... the lake to get on the fish..👌🏼🎣.

Dan had a great week over at Les Teillatts recently with this 68LB 4OZ mirror being the pick of the bunch...
Dan also landed other mirrors of 53lb 2oz, 44lb 8oz, 42lb 4oz and 38lb 10oz...
As well as these chunky mirrors a 50lb 2oz Common and a 44lb 12oz Common also fell victim to Dans’ tactics...👍🏼🎣. Well done mate.
