New Gym at Deighton Gates
Our Ingress community got us a new pokestop at Kirk Deighton Village Hall, and this has resulted in a new Gym. Welcome to Wetherby sign near Deighton Gates school is now a Gym. They also had a few submissions accepted around Boston Spa, but I've not yet checked if these became stops or created new Gyms

Two more pokestops near Mason Field gym.
Our Ingress community have gained us another two pokestops. These are the two noticeboards on Hallfield Lane. One is on the corner of Ceres Road, the other is on the corner of Third Avenue.

Our Ingress community have got us a new pokestop at Nidd Approach Playground in Deighton Bar, & one at Deepdale Skate Park in Boston Spa.

Another new gym and 4 new pokestops.
Huguenot Arch outside of Boots at Horsefield Centre has been upgraded to a Gym.
We have also gained 4 new pokestops,... Mason Field Basketball Hoop is just behind the gym at Mason Field play area. Micklethwaite Boundery Stone is in between the Wetherby Weir gym and the Police Box pokestop. Barleyfields Community Centre is at the bottom end of Barleyfields Road. And finally Methodist Community Hall is just behind the Methodist Church Gym.

New pokestop at Sandringham Park
Our Ingress players have done it again and got us another Pokestop. This time it's the community board near the steps at Sandringham Park

Unfortunately the new gym isn't Ex-Raid, despite it been in parkland but we have another new gym

Our local Ingress players have done it again and got us a new pokestop on York Road opposite the Morrisons Petrol Station. This went live this evening at 6.45pm.
This also means we are now only 1 pokestop (in this area) away from having one of the ones in Sandringham Park becoming a Gym (would possibly be Ex-Raid).

Our Ingress players have done it again and got us another Pokestop.
Welcome to Wetherby is at the Wilderness Car Park near the bandstand.

Niantic have now announced the inclusion of Lugia and Ho-Oh (both of which have possible shiny forms) to the Field Reseach Breakthrough rewards rota. The current encounters will still be in the potential rewards, So as of January 1st at 9pm untill March 1st at 9pm the list will be
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia, Ho-Oh (all of which have possible shinies), Raikou, Entei & Suicune.

Thanks to the hard work of the local Ingress community we have gain a new pokestop in the car park at Aldi.

We've had an early Christmas present from Niantic in the form of two new pokestops that became live at 6.45pm Christmas Eve.
Wetherby Racecourse Station BMX Track can be found along the old railway line path between Freemans Way and Walton.
Scaur Bank Football Field can be found at the far side of King Georges Field from the ex-raid gym and children's play area.

Heatran - Level 5 Raid Boss December 18th - January 15th
The Fire and Steel type Lava Dome Pokemon Heatran is the new raid boss.
This Pokemon has fairly high Stamina and Defense stats so will be hard to kill without a reasonable sized group. Although it has a double weakness to ground moves meaning any pokemon which has Mud Shot & Earthquake will be extremely effective. Although Water and Fighting Moves will be usefull.
