Poldark fever has hit Cornwall for the second time in under half a century and we don't mean the deadly "putrid throat"! BBC's new adaptation of the bodice ripping drama starring Aidan Turner in the title role as Ross Poldark and Eleanor Tomlinson as wife Demelza has had hearts racing and raised more than just a passing interest in Cornwall's natural beauty. By popular demand Poldark's Cornwall Experience is offering guided tours of the spectacular locations used in the series and will be scheduling "Wreckers Beach Barbecue" themed evenings as the weather improves. Kate has now booked for this year with Linda Stern. It will be Kate’s third visit to tour with us.

Beautiful accommodations, spectacular grounds to ramble. Very restorative. I think we ALL hated to leave. Am already booked for a second adventure there.”
Linda had her first visit in 2018 and has booked for two weeks with us for this year, with Kate (another friendship borne out of a love of Poldark's Cornwall.

Introducing Edna Ramshaw and Margaret Harris...
Two wonderful ladies who, like so many of us, became close friends thanks to a shared love of Poldark.
In 2018, they came to Cornwall to stay as part of the Burncoose House Party and had the holiday of a lifetime.
... Edna shared many early morning chats with Karen over a cuppa, sitting in their dressing gowns as Karen prepared everyone's breakfasts and even learned how to master some very stateside expressions from her US housemates!
