Pole Rush Fitness

About Pole Rush Fitness

So, you are intrigued by pole fitness- yet you do not believe you have the upper body and core strength or you are not flexible enough? Yeah, I hear that day in- day out. However, I also did not have any of those things, but with consistent practise IT HAPPENED!

Why pole for keeping fit;
Well the fun, social, encouraging environment and the fact you'll meet some of the nicest people element aside.
Pole is the full package of fitness for your body.

Strength; pole with build your strength. Working your tendons with isometric holds and lifts. Pole dancers do not look as strong as they actually are!

Flexibility; over time your body will get more flexible training pole- both on the pole and on the floor- counterbalancing that strength you've gained!

Balance and stability; you'll work these without really realising it sometimes- other times you'll feel some tricks require more balance. Pole really digs deep to hit your stabilising muscles.
But it happens pretty quickly!

Mobility and range; ever seen them bodybuilders who can't touch their hands behind their back? Well that's because they don't train their full range of movement or they do not have the mobility to do so. With pole you work through your full range of flexibility to gain strength. . . You use that whole muscle!

Cardio resistance; lastly pole is also great for conditioning and burning fat! Because you're working against your body weight AND gravity! Pole dancers have the smoothest conditioned skin - elephants-skin grip patches aside ha~

Classes;
My small classes are always up beat, energetic, fun and most importantly welcoming and encouraging! They are taliored to suit student as an individual as their strength grows.

What to expect in the 90 minute class;
Warm up (we aim to hit mobility, flexibility and core. )
Tricks and spins static pole
Pole conditioning
Tricks and spins spinny pole
Mini routines and floor work.
Cool down.

About me;
With 8 years experiance in the pole industry I have attended workshops with UK and world champions. I am forever expanding my training and pole technique.
Also, having self taught- I have gained great knowlege and techinque with my teaching style and SAFE POLING.

Wrap up;
Pole really isn't as easy as instructors make it look. . people that have been training for years have put thousands of hours into perfecting moves. . .
But I can personally tell you it always pushes you mentally and physically. I don't think people are ready for how tough it feels on their first try. Or how quickly they get to grips with it. IT IS achievable and totally worth the blood, sweat, TEARS and bruises! It will honestly get you in the best shape- both mentally and physically!
All you need is three things. . . Patience, determination and consistency.

If you are ready for the challenge of learning this complex art. I am ready for the challenge of teaching you.

If you're a beginner- fear not! I always teach an alternative that you will grasp, and give little tips and tricks as to how we make everything appear bendier ๐Ÿ˜‰ come check us out! . . www.polerushfitness.com

Movement has always been so important to me. The freedom to express myself through fluid movement is my absolute aim. Not just with pole though... I love to create smooth movement in so many other ways too. My style has always been raw, unedited and uncut. But I feel recently my movement is much more real, expressive and authentic to my emotions and personality. . . . .
