Polkerris Beach Description
Polkerris Beach combines an idyllic sandy Cornish cove with first class watersports facilities. It's as good for a day trip as it is for a two-week holiday or intensive watersports course.
From the smallest sandcastle-building toddler to the seasoned watersport enthusiast, there is something for everyone here. Picture this – a sheltered, sandy beach in a small village, self-catering accommodation just up the lane, no through traffic, a beach shop and café, equipment rental so you don’t have to lug everything with you and personalised windsurfing and sailing courses at our award-winning, RYA Recognised Training Centre. Round that off with a beer in the Rashleigh Inn as the sun sets and you have the makings of the perfect Cornish beach scene - or dine in style at 'Sam's on the Beach' which has proved extremely popular since it opened in 2009.

We're super excited to be hosting a Pop-Up Print Workshop in the wonderful art of Japanese woodblock printmaking with local printmaker Adrian Holmes next Saturday, 18th May! 😃 Perfect for beginners. Learn in a relaxed, scenic and enjoyable atmosphere and create a beautiful woodblock print with an emphasis on experimentation 👨🎨
And the bank holiday fun didn’t stop there! Awesome pop up silent disco yoga session with Oceanflow Yoga We hope they’ll join us on the beach again later in the year! 🧘♀️✨☺️

Push the Boat Out is a nationwide event that’s all about getting out on the water and discovering sailing in your local area! At Polkerris we will be running free 20 minute Sailing Taster Sessions, the perfect way to try sailing, feel the wind in your hair, explore St.Austell Bay and start learning a new skill. Advance booking is essential.
