Best place by far for those bits you can never find and top quality advise and service all the staff know there trade! 100% recommended

The best DIY and hardware shop in the area. Pollards supplies things you won't find in the big DIY stores, like much more effective chemical products that the big ones are probably more reluctant to sell because of health and safety (admittedly many customers are stupid, so I can understand that to a degree.)

Things are more expensive here, but they will do things like only sell you the two screws you need for a job rather than making you buy a box of 100 for more money only to have them clutter up your garage.

Knowledgeable staff. You go to them with a problem and they say "you need one of these...." and they explain how to use it.
