Polperro is a delightful village, and the Polperro Model Village re-creates it in miniature. It's an ambitious project and has been quite well carried out. The entry charge is inexpensive and includes the model village, an operating model railway layout, a fascinating historical presentation about the Polperro floods, and an audiovisual presentation of the village's history.

This is a beautiful attraction. The attention to detail is amazing and the view when you first arrive and look over the 'town' is amazing. What makes it more special is that some of the real buildings are visible over the wall so you can see the real one next to the model one. The model railway layout was also very high quality and the film/history experience was very good too. a good value attraction, very close to the bus stop in Polperro village.

Lovely and quaint. We went on a dull but dry day and it was still quite busy. We walked down to the tiny harbour and stony beach which our dog was allowed on. We then got a lovely little tram back up to the car park. Lots of pasty, cream tea and ice cream shops. Noticed a couple of reasonable places to eat for families too.

The main car park doesn't allow you to pay for less than 3 hrs parking. No option to pay for parking by card; it is 2017 FFS - unacceptable. No cash machine at or near the car park either, forcing a return trip into town jyst to pay for parking.

Otherwise a beautiful place spoilt by tacky shops and too many tourists.

Only £6 entry for family of 4 and something to do for half an hour. Small and quirky, just what we expected. Loved the dark room off to the side giving a history of Cornwall.

Its beautiful and peaceful, very oldy worldy reminds you of the days of smugglers.

We thought it was good. The model is so life like and it was fun trying to work out what was what. Our Son adored the trains and didn't want to leave. The ending part was good too! The gentleman on the door was lovely and our puppy was allowed in free of charge.

First off the guy running this place was lovey, he spoke to the children and made them feel welcome and although we couldn't take the pushchairs in he did make sure they were well looked after. The miniature village itself is great. Good detail of the actual village itself.
And the Land of Legend room is a nice addition to the site.
Would visit it again and the price is good.

Will deffinately bring my children here when they are older :)

The model village is what you would expect from someone's back garden although it is well made and presented a very good representation of Polperro itself and a lovely little puppet show of Cornwall history
