Winter is coming, and the nights are becoming dark (and full of terrors, apparently). Thankfully, we’ve got you covered with our latest product release; the OmniTorch.
The OmniTorch is a versatile, bright utility light that can be attached to pretty much anything! Its compact size allows it to be easily carried at all times, making it ideal for emergencies, outdoor activities, cycling and automotive uses.
The highly durable aluminium cube-shaped body features various att...achment surfaces and an easy-to-use toggle power switch. Its bright and efficient 'COB'-type LED unit provides superb illumination at night. The cube shape also has an advantage over conventional cylindrical torches in that it won't roll away when put down.
A sprung clip allows quick attachment to your gear or hanging inside a tent, for example.
A powerful neodymium magnetic surface allows attachment of the light to steel surfaces, such as most vehicle bodies, metal doors or industrial structures. Ideal as a pocket-sized automotive work light.
And finally a hook & loop attachment system, featuring both a hook pad and a loop pad, along with a hook & loop strap. This allows the OmniTorch to be attached to anything with this type of surface, such as bags, hats and jackets. The strap can be wrapped around anything like poles, branches and bicycle handlebars, allowing for a wide variety of applications.

Our latest product release, ‘Optec Anti-Fog’, is an effective, easy-to-use anti-fog spray that prevents fogging of visors, eyewear and optics, keeping your view clear.
The alcohol-free, water-based formula ensures the product is safe to use on all types of plastic and glass materials, both coated and uncoated.
... Optec maintains great optical clarity whilst delivering the anti-fog effect, making it perfect for spectacles, virtual reality sets and optics. The product is supplied with a microfibre cloth for application and buffing.

The latest piece of outdoor equipment to be given the ‘lightweight and compact’ treatment by us is now here; the ‘Phantom’ Ultralight Stove and Windshield Set.
The Phantom is one of the lightest multi-fuel stoves on the market.
The 2-piece cross stand provides sturdy support for pots of up to 1 litre, making it ideal for lightweight backpacking and camping set-ups.
... The burner is a simple and reliable design that uses carbon felt to provide easy lighting in cold weather conditions, with no priming or pumping needed. The carbon felt also makes the burner spill-proof which massively increases the safety aspect of using this alcohol stove, as other stove designs can spill flaming alcohol if knocked over! The burner can be filled with up to 50ml of alcohol.
An included essential is the 6-section aluminium windshield, which is a proven design for providing a solid defence against windy conditions that are typical with outdoor cooking.
The stove and windshield are super-quick to set up and use, so you can be cooking in under 30 seconds! They also cool down very quickly after use, allowing you to safely pack it away without waiting around.
When the set is packed into the included bag, it is small enough to be stored inside almost all sizes of cooking pots and mugs, making it suitable for fishing, hiking, cycling and lightweight backpacking where traditional camping stoves would take up too much space.

Turns out that our Waterproof Notepad is a really useful thing to have if you're stuck on a deserted island and your supplies of Monster energy drink and chicken nuggets are running low. Thanks to James of Survival Dads for making this great vid!

EDC guru Mark Putt from UKEDC has dropped his review of our Waterproof Notepad over on his YouTube channel. We’ve been very keen to get Mark’s verdict on the notepad, as he’s so well-versed in all things Every Day Carry, and thankfully it looks like both the notepad and the ‘write anywhere’ pen that we offer with it have exceeded his expectations. He conducts a harsh test of the pen’s writing reliability, showing how it really is an EDC notepad set for all environments.

In our involvement with EDC, outdoor and survival products, we’ve met many customers with an interest in preparedness, both in terms of skills and emergency equipment / supplies.
With ongoing world events (and even recent weather-based emergencies), interest in being prepared is definitely on the up. One group who are helping to increase awareness of preparedness are Paladin Survival & Preparedness, a friendly and welcoming community who offer advice, news updates, regular livestreams and Q&A sessions on the subject. Well worth giving them a follow to stay updated and informed!

A customer of ours, Joe Nuccio from Prepper in the Woods, has made a Youtube video 'show and tell' of his impressive fire kit, based around a waxed canvas tool roll. Featuring some of our fire lighting products, and extra innovations that Joe has added to aid in fire creation, this kit's ready to get a fire going in any weather (which would be very useful right about now!)
