Excellent site made up of two fields, one with electric hookups and dedicated water supply with modern and clean toilet and shower facilities. Staff are friendly with a shop containing most of the essentials.

Okay little campsite with decent facilities. For some reason our pitch had a very odd smell to it? Never had this before. Kinda smelt like off milk (didn't really small like a farm which I don't mind at all).
The pitches also felt a little on the tight side too.
The toilet / shower block is massive and very new / clean. really good showers etc.

Best campsite I've stayed at in a long time. 2 adults 2 children and a dog at a reasonable price. No EHU field is sloping however plenty of room around the edges for a relatively flat pitch. The shower facilities are excellent and the free hair dryer was a bonus too. Always very clean and fresh. We had an issue with a child that had been in our tent while we were away but this was immediately sorted out and peace of mind was given by way of a lock which in hindsight I should have took myself. Not all children know boundaries so this is no reflection on the site. As a family we will definitely be returning.

Well kept site little Shop on site quite well equipped. Great place to stay if into cycling as,we are .bottom field takes you on to a pathway that takes you on to the tissington and high peaks trail. Excellent showers .this is our second stay and will be back again

Lovely quiet campsite with essentials in the shop. Facilities are excellent and very clean. Campsite backs onto the disused railway cycle path which runs to Ashbourne. There are 3 pubs within a short distance The Duke of York is the closest less than half a mile up the road, then The Bull i'th' Thorn about a mile further up the road. Continue Half a mile further take a right which winds down to the aforementioned cycle path and The Royal Oak Pub, which is always busy for food. All 3 pubs do great food and drink and each has it's own charm.

Very nice campsite, and close to Buxton, Ashbourne and the Peak trails. Very good toilet and cleaning blocks, and within walking distance of a few good rural pubs.
The price is very good for the area, and great value for money.

Great site, wonderful toilet and shower block and great access to the high peak trail. Nothing was too much trouble when we needed help!
