This was the 1st time sitting in and it was well worth it, the meal was excellent! The service was perfect, friendly & courteous staff. If you are a prawn lover try the King prawn Jafrani yummm! We will most definitely be back.

The food is always amazing for one being a fussy eater! Staff are fabulous and we have been going to Ponteland Tandorri for over 30 years! Love it!

Your home service was fantastic, arrived on time, hot, tasty delicious curries, your samosas and onion bhaji were the best, and the deserts were very different and delicious. Been going since the day it opened in the late 80s .. My wife won't eat any were else !! Great food and staff over the yrs !!

Amazing.. I would say best Indian in a restraunt in a long while.. My meal was so flavorsome and the Chicken was tender.. Service was fantastic also.. We will be back

Overall we enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere was a 'tad' quiet/flat considering it was a Friday evening. Service was good but we had to wait a little bit too long in between courses. Naan breads were authentically fresh, rice cooked well and dishes presented well. No table water was offered. One of the four main curry dishes was 'extremely' sweet and could not be eaten. - An alternative was offered and declined yet price of dish was not deducted from bill. When we asked for the cost of the dish to be removed (as it wasn't eaten) we received an unenthusiastic response yet the cost was ultimately taken off. Would we visit again? Although we live local we probably wouldn't chose to visit again as we were underwhelmed, although this is largely because Indian food isn't our No. 1 personal choice.
