What a fantastic find these guys were.

Our baby (11 year old grumpy yet gorgeous Viz) absolutely loved her time there and it made our wedding so worry free knowing that she was having a great time. I’ve never seen her so relaxed in someone else’s house or with people she doesn’t know.

They are lovely people, with a lovely house, great knowledge, couldn’t ask for more!!

Will absolutely be using again and again!!! Thank you so much.

We travel often and with two dogs it is sometimes a challenge to find the right people to look after our precious four legged family members. We recently discovered Pooches Playdays & from the moment we stepped foot through the door we knew our dogs would love their own little holiday there! Cath & Garry are genuine, honest & friendly people who truly love animals!!! Our dogs were really loved and well cared for during their stay & they can't wait to visit again in June! :)

Picked my boy up today after a two week stay ... He looked amazing ! He was so full of beans ... happy and loved . I cannot recommend pooches play days enough . You could not find a better home for your vizzie ....while your on your holibobs .... so are they !! Thank you so much guys 💛

Molly and Dexter's our Collie and mini labradoodle spent two weeks with this lovely couple and their gorgeous four legged family recently. We hadn't been away on holiday for a number of years because the thought of leaving them in kennels filled us with horror and I knew that they would be traumatised.

We did our research and contacted a number of home boarding options but we simply didn't feel that any if them were genuine dog lovers or that we could trust them to take care of our very energetic babies. I put out a request to my facebook friends for any recommendations and that is where I was pointed in the direction of Pooches Playdays . We arranged to visit the following weekend and as soon as we met Cath and Garry, our fears vanished. If was clear that they genuinely love dogs and Molly and Dexter knew that.

We were delighted to hear about the quality of outdoor exercise and the lovely long walks that our very energetic border collie, in particular, would be enjoying. Cath and Garry suggested that we went out for a walk together with their dogs, the following week and that they had a sleep over as a trial so that they would know we hadn't deserted them and so that Cath and Garry could see if they would be OK. Again, this put us very much at ease. They came home the following day very happy.

A few weeks later , we went on holiday somewhat apprehensive knowing that we would miss our babies but guilt free and comfortable that we were leaving them in good hands.

Throughout our holiday we looked forward to seeing photographs of Dex and Molly with their new friends , visiting lots of lovely woodland walks, moors and beaches. They were having a ball.

They have returned home happy and healthy.

We are so grateful for the care that they received and can't recommend Pooches Playdays highly enough. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING....Thank you Cath and Garry

Just picked up my mutt after a week away. Garry and Lisa certainly know Vizslas and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. My dog settled in quickly and despite a long sleep in the car on the way home he is still flat out. He is booked in for our summer hols and I know he will have a great time. A fair distance to travel for me but worth it to know my dog is in the best of care. Thank you all for having Reg.

It's that time of year when you stat looking to book your holiday, then you start to panic!!! What will we do with the dog???. Who will look after her / him like we do???. Panic over pooches play days is THE place to send them. Just picked Paget up from her 3rd stay with Gary &Cath & once again she has had an Amazing week. With the help of the lovely Lisa you get daily pictures &video of the different walks they take them on ,whether it's the beach,the woods, or the fields great fun is had by all . They then get to go back to Gary's house for the night where the love &fun continues. Home from home is what they offer &home from home is what your best friend gets. Have no hesitation in recommending pooches play days, so go on book that weekend / holiday away, knowing your pet will be having as much fun as you are. Thanks pooches play days for making leaving your dog, guilt free.xx

Isla and Darcy our two Westies have just returned home after their holiday with Cath and Gary.. We received regular updates (photos and films) and could see that they had a wonderful time. They have been looked after by C & G as if they were their own. I would highly recommend Pooches :Playdays to anyone thinking of using them and we will be using them again without doubt. Knowing that our 'girls' were being looked after and having fun enabled us to enjoy our holiday.

I'm sure my dogs Teisha and Ivor would highly recommend a stay at Cath and Garry's if they could but as they can't operate the keypad I will..... A massive thank you to Pooches Playdays for looking after them both so well for a week - they had such a wonderful time and were completely embraced into the family home along with their own Vizslas and foster puppies at the time. I felt completely reassured that they were safe, sound, well cared for and happy whilst I was away; meaning we could all relax. Everything was easy to organise from introductions to checking pictures whilst abroad. It truly was a joy to meet such a nice couple who truly care and understand dogs. I know my dogs would be made up to have a return stay anytime.

I think that pooches playdays is an excellent 5 star . I have been there and seen it for my self longer than most people, i am there granddaughter so i have stayed there for 3 weeks and the environment is homely and they make the dogs feel at home . you should really take your pooches there if you need them to be looked after . It is excellent !!!!!!!!!!!! chloe

I can't thank Catherine and Gary enough for helping us out with our lovely lab Ruby when we went on holiday last month.

Ruby had the best couple of weeks with them and made lots of new doggy friends. I got lots of updates on the lovely walks and fun they were having which was very reassuring. When we picked Ruby up she had a box of homemade dog treats to take with her, what more could a dog ask for!

I would thoroughly recommend pooches Playdays for anyone who is looking for a special place for their special friend to stay and play. Thank you guys x

Gary and Catherine are a lovely couple, they dropped everything to bring their special Clara down to see if Spices pups would feed of her, not only that, then took them back with them and stayed up night and day to take care of these special babies. They are truly amazing people.

Fergus has just come back from 2 weeks at Pooches & he has had the best time.....I know because he has been crashed out ever since!



And you only have to look at the pics posted to know that your Ginger will have a great time & be treated like one of the family, so when you’re away your only worry is whether your Viz will want to come home!



Garry, Cath & Lisa will love your dog & be part of their family whilst you can’t be around.



Our 2 year old boy has been going for day trips, weekends & holidays for 18 months and he loves it.



If you’re looking to get away but worried about leaving your dog, look no further!

Catherine and Garry are truly lovely people, fostering orphaned puppies and hand feeding through the night. I have had the pleasure of getting a second Vizsla from them when their Clara had her recent litter. I have had weekly visits with the litter and regular updates. Now we have Willow home and she is about to go for walks we have met several times for the puppies to play and our other vizslas to zoom. They have also had my dogs for the day while I'm working and I can safely say my pooches are shattered.

How amazing it is to have found two legged friends through my four legged friends.

Can’t thank Pooches Playdays enough for looking after my Pointer, Lexi whilst we were away. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Gary and Cath and all her walks with Gary, Lisa and team. She’s thoroughly shattered! Thank You.

By recommendation we left our puppy Duke whilst away at Easter, he had a fabulous time meeting all the resident dogs and being looked after so amazingly well.

He’s come away now being fed Raw and gets on with it amazingly.

Definitely looking forward to his next stay.

Busby absolutely adores going to Pooches Playdays! It is fantastic and Garry and Cath are so brilliant with all the dogs. We have taken Busby to Pooches Playdays for both day care and home boarding and I can not recommend them enough to anyone looking for this type of service!

Bailey & Beau have just returned after a 2 week holiday with Garry & Cath at Pooches Playdays. They have had a fantastic time, and the regular photo/video updates of them on their walks & relaxing at Garry's ensures that you enjoy your holiday too. It's like home for home for them and the 300 mile (600 in total!!) trip was well worth it.

I cannot recommend them enough.

They even jumped into Garry's van instead of my car when we were picking them up!
