Good day at the Royal Welsh show Popes Rhona 1st Popes Nellys Ilia 2nd and Camus Harold 3rd all 3 were in the winning group of 4 . One more local show left and that’s it until the calf shows 🐮

Good day at Gt Eccleston Show today . Took the two babies Hettie and Immie both got first in their class then first in the Pairs and Hettie was Female and Reserve Overall Champion . Next stop Wales

All happy and settled in ready for Tuesday 🐮

Good day at the Highland Show today with our junior team Popes Rhona 2nd Popes Princess Hettie 4th Popes Princess Ilia 5th and Popes Princess Immie 6 th in very strong classes .We took our Junior stock bull Camus Harold with us and he won his class was Reserve Male Champion and Junior Male Champion We won the group of three and were Reserve in the sire group with our 3 Kilbride Farm Comber heifers . Thankyou to the team for all their hard work 🐮 🏆

2017 was an amazing year for us at Popes, our showing success couldn't have got any better. We've laughed along the way and as always had fun. We hope 2018 is as enjoyable!! Wishing all our friends a Happy New Year.

Busy day today as we welcomed the Cornish club to Popes Simmentals. Thanks for coming was lovely to see you all even if it was in the rain!

We have a couple of young bulls available ready for work hi health status also a selection of females for sale from heifers to cows with calves at foot please message for details .

Another great day today at Garstang show . We took a baby team to support a show that we have a long standing association with we had to take a young team as our senior team is now on standstill after being in Wales due to the TB rules for our 4 year testing area . We took Hunter and Haribo both destined for Stirling bull sales in October and Hettie and Tatiana two very young heifers . Hettie is last years daughter from our famous show cow Princess Cleo they all did us proud .... Haribo won his class with Hunter second and Hettie won her class with Tatiana second . Hettie went on to be Overall Champion with Haribo Reserve Overall Champion . We have had a fantastic show season and it is all the more special that all the cattle are homebred . Harry also had a great day with the Beltex getting Overall Champion and Interbreed Champion team of 3 . Think it's time for a couple of weeks off !!

We would just like to say a massive thank you for everyone who has congratulated us on the past two days. A great day showing yesterday, winning Champion Simmental, Reserve Champion and Junior Champion. Then Popes Princess Cleo took the Interbreed at the Royal Welsh, with Popes Fearless alongside her today they were Reserve in the Fitzhugh pairs.
