What a charming little place.. fabulous food and very helpful and friendly staff... I will be back... OMG your Manchester Tart was to die for.

Went here with my mum and Aunty for high tea we had the eggs benedict and eggs Florentine as well as the indulgence for 3 and it was absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time and the ladies were really attentive and cheerful. Food was yummy and the tea selection was huge. Definitely visit again when up north visiting my aunt again.

Went here today with my hubby for the Indulgent afternoon tea. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much bother. The afternoon tea was very tasty and plentiful, even brought a doggy bag home. Would recommend 100%

We visited with 3 children everybody loved the afternoon teas absolutely gorgeous we can't wait for next time. Recommended by a friend so glad she told us about Poppins as we will be sure to visit AGAIN. Very polite and courteous with the kids very welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others x

We took our 30 Reception class children today for our end of year trip. All the children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches & cupcakes. Huge thank you for looking after them so well.

Took my lovely mum here today , what a lovely ambience this place has . I love the old fashioned decor and the cute floral china tea sets . Food was delicious as well as the tea and tasted good quality . We’re coming back here ! X

Taken as a treat from my best friend, it's so like stepping back in time, the miss match chairs, the tea served in tea pots, cups and saucers, a great choice on the menu from afternoon tea to eggs benidict. Friendly staff, looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely little tearoom. We both have afternoon tea. The sandwiches were lovely and a perfect amount! The cakes were amazing too! Ended up being lots home but didn't mind! Staff were really friendly and very happy to accommodate our little boy! Lovely decore too! Will be coming back soon!

I took my grandma here for her 78th birthday and she absolutely loved it!! I only found it by the of chance and I’m so glad we went! Services was great and the food was beautiful!! Will defiantly be going back!

I came all the way from Canada to visit poppins tearooms and let me tell you it was worth the wait and worth the travel. It was everything I imagined it to be and more, I can't wait to go back on our next visit to the UK. Absolutely perfect and great service for this "newbie" tea room customer. Great job!

Absolutely gorgeous, tucked away on Lee Lane in Horwich. The menu is extensive but the minute I saw Eggs Benedict I was sold - one of my most favourite meals - and at Poppins, it was beautiful, so I shall definitely be coming again - I only live in Blackrod, so no excuse. Very impressed - lovely caring staff and nothing too much trouble.
