Shop bought processed foods are usually ...higher in sugar, calories, fibre, reduced nutrients due to the processing. Resulting in a short term hunger fix, meaning more food is consumed throughout the day… over eating!
When buying foods in the supermarket check the labels and try and avoid: High-fructose corn syrup Trans fats Artificial sweeteners and colourings Preservatives- potassium bromate, propyl, sodium nitrates and monosodium glutamate.
