Had a fantastic day in the warm sunshine with all these lovely doggies and a cat called Sid 💜

Casper is a lovely young Labrador, and is one of my ad hocs. He is an absolute sweetheart, but he pulls so hard that he makes my arms hurt. Today I used my new Gencon All-in-one headcollar and, oh my lord, it was like walking a different dog! He has gone from pulling ahead, to walking nicely next to me on a loose lead. Gencon is short for Gentle Control. It goes over their nose and behind their head, and it applies gentle pressure if a dog tries to pull. It has worked absolute wonders on Casper, and gave us a fantastic walk in the warm sunshine. Gold star for lovely Casper!

Just got back from another lovely walk with Ace. Today we went to Northorpe along the track that goes behind Lidl, and enjoyed every minute 🙂🐾

Had a lovely walk with Ace this morning along the Bourne Eau. It was cold, but sunny, and Ace enjoyed sniffing everything and watching the birds.

Sorry I've not posted for a while, I've been too busy! I've enjoyed lots of lovely walks, both with regulars (MZ and Pickle, Archie and Roxy, and Ria), and with my ad-hocs like Chester, and my new regular, Ace. I've discovered new places to walk, which are great as they are not full of other people and dogs, which is awesome if you have a reactive dog or prefer not to be around people, like me! Happy days 😊🐾

This is the sweet little Sid. He is one of my ad hoc doggies, so it was lovely to see him again and take him for a walk and a sniff 💜

Had a brown pants moment this morning! MZ took off across the fields, leaving me shouting her from up on top of the bank next to the Bourne Eau. Eventually she came back, but it was definitely a heart in mouth moment!

Happy Mother's Day to all the dog, cat, horse, rabbit, chicken etc. Mums out there 💜

Enjoyed a lovely walk with Ace along the Bourne Eau this morning. It was beautiful in the sunshine, with the heat of the sun warming our bones 💜

We're very lucky to have Porter's Pet Services on our doorstep and when we were going to be out for the day at my sister's wedding Amanda very kindly agreed to take charge of Ava, our 2 year old chocolate lab and Beau, our 3 year old tabby. Despite the rainy weather, Ava had a lovely walk and both were fed and watered. I would definitely recommend Porter's Pet Services to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter for their pet. I found Amanda on Facebook and when she came to do a meet & greet I immediately knew I would be happy to let her walk my dog and have access to my home. Amanda is very professional as well as being friendly,accomodating and very good at her job. I had a message and pictures sent to me telling me how my boy was and a full written report on my return. I would have no hesitation in recommending Porter's Pet Services and will definitely be using them again. Thank you Amanda ����

Amanda looked after our daft pug Arnold recently and we had her 'Doggy Day Care' package. While we were away she came several times a day, spent time with Arnold, walked him and fed him. She even fed and played with our cat while she was there. Couldn't be happier with her service and she even left a little diary behind to let us know what had gone on at each visit. Fantastic! Xxx

Amanda is very good at her job, sends pictures and videos to put your mind at ease. really adaptable at short notice and always goes the extra mile. lovely lady.
