Currently on this site.
Friendly owner. Had a good chat with him.before even booking. Just a one night stop for me. Good price/quality with free internet. And you can have electric.
Nice tidy clean. Toilets and shower look real clean. Would come again next time!5 stars

We store our caravan here, and used the site during the summer holiday with our children. Booked two pitches to allow relatives to visit, had a fantastic week! Good amenities, ideal location and a friendly owner. Definitely recommended!

Well....I feel that I must submit a posting. This campsite is tidy, clean and well maintained with good facilities. It is what it says on their promotions. However, for me what let it down was the publics behavior and the owners poor response or lack of it. It states that dogs should be on leads at all times.....so why do some owners feel it doesnt apply to them and their dogs?. On numerous occasions dogs were not on their leads dropping their backsides on the camping field. All offenders seen had caravans and one regular offender had a black labrador, not a small dog !! No matter how well behaved your animal is rules are there to apply to all. In addition the site managers response to the selfish idiot trying to burn a wood fire was woefully poor. The camper in question lit a barbecue at 1030pm and continued to behave like it was 6pm. Friday night was diabolical with the noise levels going on late. If you are going to set rules then you should be prepared to enforce them particularly when someone makes a call to make a justified complaint. It felt lile a free for all with people doing exactly what THEY wanted with no regard for others. As a regular visitor camping in Dorset I will not be returning to this site and will not be recomending it to my friends who are campers. Beautiful area, shame this campsite and lack of rules enforcement ruined my much needed break.

Me and my husband have just got back from a 5 night stay, the first 4 nights was lovely, but our last night which was a Friday night was terrible, people turning up after 9pm started up a bbq with wood, the owner did come and tell him that wood couldn't be used, so he went off and got bbq coal and got back and thought at 10.20pm was alright to light the bbq up again, and his family wasn't that quiet. There was kids shouting on the playground at 10.30pm as well, so I phoned the owner to tell him that the man had set up his bbq again at 10.20pm, and he told me that he couldnt tell him again to put it out as he needed to feed his kids, doesn't matter that other campers are trying to go to sleep, and the kids on the playground was OK, but we have to give the kids an extra half an hour to let off some steam once they have got there, and yet again was 10.30pm - 11pm. As me and my husband was so annoyed, to say we will not be returning, I have looked at other sites, after 9pm people are not aload to arrive and everybody has to be respectful to other campers of all ages and keep noise down.

First impression excellent very clean & organised in glorious village with good access to all routes. Lovely friendly crowd & amazing countryside with footpath adjacent farm for dog walks . larger site than I normally stay at, bit bewildered at first trying to discover where to pitchup, but new neighbour very helpful. Fabulous value this time of year, good access to Weymouth, Bridport & Dorchester

Lovely setting. Surrounded by 'rolling hills' & beautiful views. Campsite clean & tidy. Nearby attractions, Corfe Castle, The Blue Pool, Monkey World. ( all Wareham). Abbotsbury village just down the road. Historic beautiful village with The Swanery, Catherines Chapel standing alone on a hilltop, beatiful sea & hillside views from it. Well worth a visit. Also the coastal path runs by the bottom of the hill the Chapel stands on. Truly beautiful.
