Let the Summer begin! New menu and fantastic dishes for this summer at Portrait Restaurant

Summer is still on!

We are delighted to announce details of our next supper club – an evening with special guest chef Chetna Makan, acclaimed food writer and finalist on ‘The Great British Bake Off’.
Chetna’s lavish menu will showcase dishes from her two books, The Cardamom Trail and Chai, Chaat & Chutney, as well as the inspired patisserie that first brought her to national attention. We’ll enjoy dishes ranging from Mumbai street food snacks to rich curries and luxurious puddings featuring tro...pical fruits.
Join us at 7pm to mingle over pakora, masala papad and elegant Three Graces sparkling wine, or your preferred aperitif, then we’ll sit down to dine communally at 7.30pm.
Throughout the evening, Chetna’s food will be paired with wines and beers from England’s leading wine producer, Chapel Down in Kent. The crisp, aromatic white wines including benchmark Bacchus, and Curious Brew lager made with champagne yeast, are the perfect accompaniments to a menu of exotic flavours.
The all-inclusive tickets are £75 per person.

Tonight, grilled cured salmon, asparagus, courgette and dill lemon butter sauce... Very good way to enjoy Asparagus on its last week of the season... A glass of Chapel Down Rose and this is my dinner... done!
