Positive Pets

Dog walking, pet sitting, cat and small furry visits. Dog training using positive reinforcement. Genuine love and enjoyment goes into the business.

If you have a sociable dog that loves to play and have company of others, we do group walks when possible. If your dog prefers to have one to one attention and stroll at their own pace, a separate walk is not a problem. Providing your four-legged friend is happy to jump in the car for an adventure, I try to go to interesting places were the dogs nose can take in lots of new smells. On return they will get a tasty treat and a snuggle.

We also love to visit cats and small furries for feeding and cleaning as well as important snuggling.

The training method used and followed by me is POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT. Force or punishment is never used throughout my training. I use a series of rewards and build the confidence of dogs in order to guide them through training and allow it to be enjoyable for the dog.

When I am away on courses my mum, Carol, covers for me. She is experienced also having a true passion for animals. Clients will always be notified if I am away.

Myself and my mum have both completed a CPD accredited Pet First Aid course.

- 2: 1 Honours Degree Animal Behaviour and WelfareBTEC Level 3 -
- FDSC Animal Management and Behaviour
- National Diploma Animal Management and Behaviour

I also attend regular conferences and workshops at least once a month to keep up to date with new research and science.
