Greetings to all,
Due to the current Corona virus issues all counsellors, psychotherapists and hypnotherapy providers have been asked to move to online sessions by the regulating body until further notice.
This means that as from Monday, the 16th March all my sessions will be done through WhatsApp Face Time or via Skype.
... Apologies for any inconvenience and I am sure you’ll understand.
However, as my sessions are now being delivered via FaceTime I’ll be able to offer a much wider range of appointments throughout the week, both daytime and evening. Please feel free to contact me for appointments.
For those of you already have an appointment with me, please contact me if you would like to book a different time. Otherwise I shall see you via FaceTime at our agreed appointment time.

Kindness
The capacity for kindness is fundamental to human nature. It means different things to different people. Kind acts vary. They are acts that benefit others at some cost to yourself.
The very notion on kindness itself is entangled with others concepts such as altruism (self-sacrifice), compassion and pro social behaviour. Kindness is distinct to altruism as the latter refers to a specific exchange, a loss to one individual and a gain to one or more others. Simple acts... of kindness, such as smiling kindly at someone who looks sad is hardly a loss. However, giving away a portion of your income to charity to benefit the less fortunate, uses reason and not compassion. The movement itself argues that the decision is a rational one, not a compassionate one. Compassion is an aspect of kindness, but one can be compassionate without acting on it. Compassion without action is not kindness. Being kind to self is possible, whereas being self-altruism is impossible.
The essence of kindness is not a single thing, it does not overlap with altruism and compassion, and has both behavioural and affective components. Kindness has -benign tolerance, acceptance and love of other people, - - empathetic responsitivity, which is a consideration of the feelings of others and - principled proaction, which is boadly an alturistic behaviour that is proactive and about behaving honourably.
So, be kind to yourself as much as you are kind to others. The world will become a better place.

Paltering
Palatering is a form of deception when a person is using the truth to mislead.
It feels better than lying but costs more on a long run. Paltering is effective at actively leading other parties to false conclusion, just like straight out lying. People using paltering come across convincing as what they say is technically true. However, the fact that they are misleading others cause more harm to themselves then telling the whole truth.
... So paltering is a self-defeating behaviour.

Replace fear with love
Fear is the product of memory, that dwells in the past. Remembering what hurt us before is directing our energies towards making sure that an old hurt will not repeat itself. Trying to impose the past on the present, however, will never wipe out the threat of being hurt again. Once we find our deepest, real truth in ourselves, we find that it is Love. Love in its purest form is what lives within and is untouchable by fear.
