We stumbled upon this whilst wandering around the shops and was so pleased we did, itŌĆÖs a little gem of a cafe. The carrot cake was the best weŌĆÖve ever tasted. Will definitely revisit next time weŌĆÖre in Dorchester.
We are on holiday in Weymouth and came to Dorchester for the day and discovered this lovely cafe. Food was delicious and even my fussy daughter polished off her jacket potato! Service was really efficient and the staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend and will come here again if we're ever in Dorchester.
Unfortunately found this last day of holiday. Definitely recommend. Thoughtful staff and amazing cakes. Will come back next year.
This place is delicious. We first visited on a very cold day a few years ago and the open fire, polite staff and yummy food was greatly received. As we were in the area again we had to come back, wonderful homemade soup and good tea. For us itŌĆÖs ace, the dog is welcome too... we got doggy biscuits on our first visit though.
Second visit to potters caf├® stopped there for breakfast a few weeks ago was so nice best breakfast I have had in a long time so popped in again yesterday for breakfast same lovely breakfast good stuff keep it going.
One of the best full English breakfasts around with real sausages not nasty processed ones! And very friendly staff
My partner and I visited the establishment around a month ago, for the first time, and were very impressed with their breakfast. As we were visiting Dorchester again last week we decided to start our day in the vicinity with another visit and again were not disappointed. Recommended.
My husband and I had lunch in the lovely courtyard at Potters Cafe. The jacket potato with their cheesy coleslaw and side salad was so nice, along with the dorset fruit bowl herbal tea, and the wonderful friendly services from the girls. It was so nice that we returned the next day again for lunch. We will be visiting on a regular basis once we move down to dorchester, dorset for sure.

Found this place by accident and decided to have family brunch. It was a great decision, great vibe to the place, real quality food, proper sausages, delicious bacon, couldn't have been better. Lovely polite service too. Kids loved it too so we are hoping to come back tomorrow (are you open bank holiday???)

Delicious broccoli and Stilton soup , with door stops of fresh granary bread! All beside a cosy log fire. Best place to pop into when it's freezing outside and your feeling hungry!
Came across this place bank holiday Monday. We all ordered different & everything was very tasty. Great service as well.
A really lovely cafe, friendly staff and very tasty food. I especially love their cakes! Only marked it down one point because the food can be quite expensive.
