Friday chill on the Family Green

Good Evening All!
We've had a great day on Resort and at lunchtime our hugely talented Entertainments Team took on our lovely guests at Champions Hour.
The staff won 6-1 and means we still haven't lost to the guests in 22 years, 11 months, 2 days, 14 hours and 54 minutes.
... Remember when coming on Resort on a Family Break to see if you can beat us ;-)

Wonderful place, great food, fab entertainment and very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. And had a fabulous facial at Aphrodite beauty studio to complete my lovely stay here.

Took our U3a group 10/10 from original booking groups dept extremely helpful restaurant superb food and service ,full day and evening programme now the entertainment better than any west end shows magical and as a special this week we got half hr of pure vocal entertainment from Sion Hathaway amazing�

Sadly Back home after our 4night stay. Was our first time and definitely won’t be the last! Loved every minute even with grim weather!!! So many activities to do... even our 14 & 11 year old sons loved them and didn’t mind not playing football to do them �. Outstanding food, service, entertainment and accommodation so thank you to everyone that works there we’ve had a fantastic time.

Our first visit to Potters. What a great place! Great location, Friendly & helpful staff, spotlessly clean, comfy bed & pillows, super food and first class entertainment. One little issue was dealt with quickly and professionally. Highly recommend and will certainly be back!!

My son has just done work experience at your fantastic @PottersResort and enjoyed the resort so much. He even went into Potters when he didn’t have to, so he could maximise the learning experience because he enjoyed it there and had a great week.

He hasn’t stopped talking about what a fantastic experience he had, what he did while there and learnt from your kind staff. He really enjoyed helping out with the trailer video for your brand new show for this summer of fun.

I would like to say thank you for giving him this opportunity for work experience at your resort and I know he will be in touch as soon as he is 16 to apply for a job at your resort. #summeroffun

Just back from the family weekend. Had a marvelous time. The grandchildren absolutely loved it. The staff were great and being regulars, we know that facilities and entertainment are exceptional. I would particularly like to make comment and congratulate our waiter Richard who was terrific with the children and devoted so much time to one six year old who absolutely loved him. Thanks Richard for adding so much fun and value to our holiday.

I used to work at Potters as a chalet made.C row I cleaned!



My husband is ill at the moment and we love coming to Potters to relax with a drink.

We only live in Lowestoft and are thinking of coming to Potters later in the year for a 3 / 4 day break.

The Hotel is lovely so many different things since I worked there about 17 years ago now.

Every one are really helpful and friendly when we come. Thank you. We will definitely come again xx

Here this week for the first time. The hotel room is great. Lots to do but came to relax and a great place to do that to. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Brought my Mother who is 87 and the suite is ideal for her will be back For sure. Well done Potter's by the way did I not mention the food. Excellent catering for every need.

Had a brilliant weekend at potters... the room was very spacious, immaculately clean...the staff were all very helpful, always happy and polite... asking if we were ok and enjoying ourselves, was there anything we needed... the staff in the shop were lovely, took time to chat and laugh with us. .. the entertainment was brilliant, and very funny...the bar staff were very friendly and happy to serve us. we enjoyed the quizz and spin the wheel which was Hosted by the very funny mark and his gang... and lastly the food... which was lovely and loads of it ...came home like a bloated pig lol 😂..and a BIG THANK YOU to our waitress the lovely MEGAN... such a lovely friendly young lady ...💕 Can honestly say we had a fantastic weekend and cant wait to go again ... THANK YOU POTTERS XX

First time here at the weekend for the darts exhibition, what a great place! Loads of stuff to do all day long! Shaun was very good on reception when we arrived, as were all the staff throughout our entire stay. Food very good also. The darts event it self was very well thought out and really enjoyable. We only traveled from caister but lots of people we spoke to had travelled a long way and had a great time. We Very much hope you host another darts event in the future. Very impressed. Thank you.

Excellent place been three years in a row so much fun and entertainment for all ages. Friendly and welcoming staff and activities and food all inclusive apart from some drinks. Our family love it here.

Brilliant break. Food excellent and staff bent over backwards to help couldn't do enough for you. Entertainment was excellent best weekend .... staff called jack sercurity was amazing helped out party all our needs ..... one down fall. Parking limited and not well posted needs attention ... will still go back and can't wait to book up again thank you to all staff

Am doing the RAF celebration show tonight. Just wanted to say how great your tech crew are. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and it’s been an absolute pleasure working with them. The theatre you have is incredible well equipped and puts most west end venues to shame.

All the staff were superb,and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, also hats off to the head chef and all the kitchen staff and the waiting staff who work so quickly and efficiently to get the food out and the tables and the plates cleared. Run like a precision engine. Superb.

A great place to visit. There is nothing to complain about except the main show being so late, it is something we did not want to miss. The entertainment during the day and evening is fantastic, so professional. The food, well what can I say except very very good.

2nd visit.. still as good as last year.. in fact better as i have been blown away by the attention given to my dietary needs... discussions with senior chef only 5 minutes after service... options galore, very professional and empathic.

The facilities are superb. Our room is spacious and well presented. We are coming back in September!

The bungalows are clean ,friendly staff, food ok ,drinks are expensive although after 6 pm till midnight the drinks are free !this weekend is a drinks included weekend , loads of activities to do if your prepared to wait .

Entertainment is fantastic I was singing so much that I have a sore throat at moment .

I would recommend this place for people to come and enjoy themselves , I had a pedicure which was lovely in the spa venue they do various treatments , the swimming pool is heated

I booked in advance via telephone as we needed 2 rooms interconnecting, we were a hen party of 5 and had lots of games etc in store for the bride to be. The lady on the phone said the best option was the hotel rooms. When we arrived however we had been allocated 2 separate rooms not interconnecting,but a HUGE thanks to andrew on reception he managed to tweek a few bookings around to accomodate our needs which was brilliant,so we had 2 newly refurbished interconnecting rooms. The whole experience ,entertainment, staff facilities was amazing we absolutely had a great time. A big shout to one of our waiters Aiden who ended up 'planking' in the dining room alongside our bride to be sharon what a star!! Only negative issue is the dining experience is rushed no time to digest your food before the next course is delivered,and empty plates should not be taken until the group has finished their meal otherwise a fantastic time. We will be back!!

This was our second visit after 13 years. We do think this resort is very expensive for people like us who don’t make use of all the facilities, but we liked the sound of the 60s weekend. Luckily by booking as part of a group made the cost more acceptable. I paid extra for the bungalow plus and was glad we did. As this is a 5 star resort I did expect a full range of toiletries, but there was no conditioner, body lotion or tissues. Also no decaf coffee or biscuits, and even worse is the fact the bungalows are not serviced on a Sunday - why!! Why should people in the bungalows use damp towels and make their own beds when the ones in the hotel don’t? We are after all pay 5 star prices remember. I can’t fault the food or service in the restaurant except that on the Friday they ran out of roast pork which isn’t very good. The ham offered was good, but there was only brown gravy to have with it. Where was a white sauce? Who puts brown gravy on ham? Service from Matt excellent. The groups on all three nights were really good and didn’t disappoint. Also Roxy and the other groups in The Terrace great. This place is excellent for people who use all the facilities and families with children if they can afford it. We ourselves will only return if visiting guest artistes appeal to us. We had a good weekend though.
